You can try what @NickyLouieand I recommend above. Our assumption is that it's fungus.  If antifungal therapy (without any steroids!) doesn't have any effect in a week or so, go see a doctor. 

Agree, reasonable way to proceed. 

 

If antifungal seems to work continue it for at least a  week past full disappearance of the rash.

A very long time ago, I had an itchy horrible rash on my ham. Went to see my gp in the UK numerous times, tried all sorts of creams: No effect.

 

On my first trip here, I spoke with a pharmacist who recommended Fucidin antibiotic cream.

 

Itwas completely eradicated in a week, with no reoccurrence.

Costs about 120 baht.

This is a good antibiotic cream (though in the armpit I would rather use Clinidagel = clindamycin gel, another one).

Antibiotics work if the rash is caused by bacteria., not fungus. 

 

We don't really know what causes the rash,  but treating it as fungus, like @NickyLouie recommended,  is worth a try. 

I would not use a shotgun approach, using many different creams for every causative agent imaginable. 

Zalain is good. If it works,  continue at least 1 week after complete disappearance of symptoms.

If it doesn't work after a week,  see a doctor.

many cleaning products and clothes detergents/ softeners, etc have chemicals that can cause skin problems.   I wash clothes with only baking soda and a touch of vinegar.   clean and no odor .

also i use baking soda as a deoderant or when have insect bites...

A VERY INEXPENSIVE and safe thing would be to make a thick paste of BS and water and put it on the area .   In armpit will flake off little by little.  Clean with water and put on again .   TRY it ....  nothing to lose

just saw this post .   happy to see someone else knows about baking soda .  good for many things !    A great solution for almost anytime one has case of heartburn/ stomach gas .   One teaspoon in water..... within a very short time a nice burp will set you free.    (not medical advice  😉)

Had that on scalp 2 years ago, antibiotics from dermatology hospital at victory monument, better than the private one before that. This is not the same as that.
