No, it's right. They all serve that and again, what's the best is still personal opinion. Many foods, like a good pizza, are made in many places and the only way to say who's best is a majority vote, even though some are just as good as others and to pick just one is still opinions.Again you're missing my point.

Wrong again. None of those places have 30 baht cheesecakes.

Where can I find lemon and blueberry cheesecake for 30 baht in Udon Thani?

100% of worrying is a waste of energy and time. Just think, one day you will no longer exist. We live with that reality every day of our lives and still manage to enjoy life to some degree. If a concern doesn't have a solution, forget about it. If you can do something - act.

My point was that you can't judge others here by a few replies. It takes time to wade through the BS and see what the truth is, and some can BS for a long time before they're found out, because, again, everything you want answers for can be researched quickly online, or if not, by a phone call to whatever place you're interested in. This is the modern media age.

I can. I knew before asking you knew little about cheesecakes or Udon. Udon has multiple Beyond Cafes not just 1. An expert on Udon would know this.  They don't have 30 baht cheesecakes. I knew before asking you never went to CM. It's easy to see people when you understand words and people.

You actually know nothing about my knowledge of cheesecakes. I know the places Udon has for cheesecakes as I found them in a few seconds researching. Who sells the best is personal opinion. That they cost a little more in some places doesn't matter as people will buy what THEY think is the best and not care what others think.

Again, no matter what I have ever said here, you don't know where I've been, what I know, and I never said anything about 30 baht cheesecakes. You did. I could live in Udon and you would never have a clue.

Like you, many exaggerate things here, and again like you, many people assume what others know. You did prove my point though, without understanding what I was saying all along.

Remember if you think you're an expert on something. Someone had to teach you what you know, or you had to research it to find out yourself.

What's the best place in Khon Kaen to go to for Lanna food?

You're still missing the main point I was making. It doesn't matter if I'd ever visited Udon or had cheesecake there. Again, any information anyone can want about almost anything on earth can be researched in books, online or from one who's teaching the subject. And again, the only thing you know about anyone online is from what they've said, which again, can be truthful or plain BS. That you dismiss what's plain logical shows you only think you are right, and that's not the way to learn anything. It requires an open mind and the understanding that you really don't know anyone well, even if you've met them in person and have been out with them a few times. NO ONE knows much about anyone alive unless they live wit them 24/7, and even then people can hide much of what they really are.

You're still missing my point, so go back to the beginning of the conversation and look at what I said. Just because you have been to a few places here doesn't make you, nor anyone else, an expert on it. I can mention thousands of places you've never been to, that I have, and you could still research about them and know some things about them, even though I lived there for decades. The "best" places are based by personal OPINIONS. Whats good for some might be hated by others, and your opinion isn't more valid than theirs.

Dodged the question. 1 You don't eat Lanna food. 2. You don't know much about Khon Kaen. Only took 1 question.

You need to get some help on that assuming you and a few others here do. It shows a lack of restraint and basic common sense. You still aren't going back to my original point. I'm not answering your questions because you're still assuming what I know or don't know. If you believe everything people say in an online forum, I have some ocean front property I can sell you in Poland.

I can ask you a million questions about food, restaurants, music, psychology, movies, working out, nutrition, animals and many other topics where the only way you could answer them is if you researched them, like you did the other day when the forum was talking about what exercises were good for muscle gains. You obviously aren't a person who knows and went to the internet to quote things I already knew back in 1974 when I started working out.

I could have eaten Lanna food back in 2015 and you would never know, as it's not only made in northern Thailand, and is available in other places including Bangkok, or visited Khon Kaen when I first came to Thailand back in 2015 for Songkran, on our way to Kanchanaburi. coming from Bueng Kan. I actually don't know much about Khon Kaen as I didn't spend much time there, but I again, can ask you about towns near me that you've never been to, where you know nothing also unless you researched, so again, you're dismissing my point. My girlfriend makes her own version of Khao Soi. A lot of ethnic Thai dishes are made in other locations besides where they originated, including in the west like Los Angeles, Texas and New York, as many who live there came from Thai regions and brought their recipes with them.

Discussing current events and world issues is not whining, its normal discussion to be aware of your surroundings and make informed decisions about life on an ongoing basis.

The whinging comes from you and the trumpette cultist that cant deal with facts being discussed because they cause you distress about the positions you take that arent based in reality and without factual proof. Thats what your post link is actually about so go back and read it again.

No, you hide behind long posts to protect your ego. Some people hide behind people, some hide behind alcohol, some drugs, some sporting talent. Some people are blunt and honest. Some hide behind the gym. Everyone has habits and traits. Once you know how to read people you see these traits repeated.

You tell people you know lots about Thailand yet I knew before asking you knew stuff all about CM, Udon, KK and Lanna food even before asking. The only dish you know is Khao Soi.

Of course you will say every city is same same. I predicted all your responses before you typed them cause I can read people.

I don't need to protect my ego. I have good self esteem and feel good because I spend a lot of time helping others. You again assume about everyone here, all without knowing much about them.

My point is still people can come here and know a lot about a subject, or just post links trying to show they do, all the while just knowing the link itself will show evidence, and is something anyone can find using the internet. You cannot "read" people from just a few replies here for just that reason. The only way anyone can judge anyone with any amount of truth is actually knowing them for quite awhile, in person, and spending a lot of time with them.

I mentioned one northern Thai dish and you again, assume that's all I know about.

You might know about these cities from visiting them, but you don't know more than many who have been there more, or who live there, without researching on them.

I never said to anyone I know "lots"about Thailand. I know about the places I've been to or researched about, but I would never pretend to know more about them than those who either live there, been there more than I, or researched more than I have. And who care anyway?

You saying you predicted my responses is yet another assumption, impossible to prove, so is a waste of time saying here. What you still can't fathom is the main point I'm still making. I can also say you hide behind your computer, ready to look up anything just to dismiss others, and when are proven wrong time and again, still keep going on, deflecting and bringing up other nonsense about who makes the cheapest cheesecake in Chiang Mai. Again, who cares?

Every large city in a particular country is yes, much the same as others there, as the cultures spread to the whole country. The architecture, thinking, politics, cuisine, justice systems and habits. Certain things like food, which has a particular origin point, are still available across the oceans, as people have brought them from their countries for others to enjoy.

I have no reason to visit Pattaya or anywhere else in Thailand besides one or two places, including the tribal people outside Chiang Mai and another island or two. Much of it is all the same. And from what I hear from friends and other here, that remains to be true. I can say the same about most any other country also. There are a few points of interest, be they architecture, arts, cuisine, hunting, fishing or history. The reason most travel.

You’re obviously the ultimate Pattaya authority after all that time you’ve spent there. That’s fantastic. Ever considered venturing beyond your beloved Pattaya? Or is it just so perfect there for you that you’ve never felt the need to see the rest of Thailand? If you’re that devoted, I suppose there’s really no point in broadening your horizons. Pattaya forever!

What's your personality type? My guess is Jordan Peterson. Apart from politics you are very similar. You should read his books to understand yourself better.

An expat is someone who goes to live in another country. Every province has expats. Some who go specifically to Pattaya are sexpats, which means sex with as many as possible is more important than having a mutual relationship with just one who isn't selling their bodies to anyone who wants to pay. I have met, and know, many expats here and only know of their behavior when I'm around them., I don't assume things about people I don't live with 24/7, as their lives are a mystery to everyone .

Yes but behaviour is not that unique. There's not 8bn personality types. There are only a limited number.

Happiness comes from within so studying your own personality type helps life get better.

Most people don't even know who they are.
