It's certainly an obsessiom. One would have to be looking up these incidents to prove one's point on a full-time basis.

The US has so much crime, particularly gun crime, that has nothing to do with immigrants. Leads me to believe immigrants are a tiny proportion of all crime in the US.

Nevertheless, obsessed or not--an obsession trying to convince us all of the high morality of the Church of ICE--I think it's a good idea to deport foreigners convicted of crimes both in the USA or abroad. If these immigrants have lived an honest life for, say, ten years, I'd give them credit to stay. People change, people better themselves.

However, I am in favour of honest immigration, both legal and illegal. Economic migrants have families, too. We should be providing compassion to them. Are Americans saying the Statue of Liberty means nothing?

ICE is an intrusion into the lives of people who just want a better future. Good neighbours to have.
