“I don’t understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody.” he said.

The post also highlights Mr. Trump’s longstanding belief that he can convince his followers of nearly anything without losing their support.

I don't think it is so much the "individuals" that were involved with Epstein that are driving this cover-up.

With the notable exception of Trump, they are largely out of power. An aging group of degenerates often the butt of jokes and scatological nicknames... BJ Billy; Randy Andy, etc.

The real issue here is Epstein and Maxwell's alleged relations with Israeli intelligence agencies.

Also do not forget that the infamous deal Epstein got in 2006, was granted by a GOP U.S. Attorney (Acosta), in a GOP state and under a GOP presidency. Interestingly enough, he was later appointed Labor Secretary by Trump 1.0.
