Here we go again - tin pot dictators keeping their People down though military actions and subsequent marshall laws - it is standard practice.  They did it here, they are still doing it in Myanmar, and it looks they are doing it in Cambodia soon.

 

Thailand better get serious and sort all these domestic and international issues out soon - especially this one.  International investments, trade and tourism is deserting Thailand - and Trump's tariffs deal has been rejected so they will be hit hard. Added to that an international military dispute with Cambodia is only going to make things worse - much worse. 

 

And the Thais in charge do not seem to realise that once it is all gone, it aint going to come back for a while - and their Chinese ancestors are not going to bail them out without Thailand paying a huge price. I guess the Thainese elite are happy to pay that price (land) - but I think the Thai People and ruling family will have other views. Interesting times could be ahead - and I thought Covid was 'interesting'.

And the cause of this war is what exactly? Seems like Hun Sen is on the defensive, and it seems like the Thai Army is trying to justify their existence.
