I never said he was a literal Nazi and I've also never said Putin is a literal Nazi.

Putin, insanely, has painted Zelinskyy and Ukrainian defenders as literal Nazis.

Sure that crap works with many Russians, but it' shameful how many westerners buy into such obvious garbage.

But Trump is Putin's puppet, that's why the US invaded Iran, correct?

How does Trump's son-in-law feel about all the Nazis in the White House?

How do you feel Obama being tight with Farrakhan?

The truth hurt?

Ukraine winning the war ?

Well they better be with the trillions of euros and dollars blindly handed over and the much of high tech european and american military hardware.

But who checks for all the current corruption in Ukraine and the many embezzlement of this money ? As Ukraine is as corrupt a nation as Russia...or the European Union parliament.

It's kind of academic.

There are such factions in most nations.

The point in THIS war is that fascist dictator Putin has falsely painted Ukraine as a Nazi nation and cynically conflating this war with the Soviet Great Patriotic War against the Nazis.

It is in no way a Nazi nation.

In THIS war it's the Russian side that is behaving like Nazis.

That was not my point. The user going by the name " t0mt0m" claims he is a Pole, and regularly uses half baked stories from WW2 and pre-WW2 Poland to regularly attack Ukraine. He likely had a previous username on this forum, possibly one of two who identified as Putin-supporting Russians, but likely about as Russian as this clown is Polish.

His post needs removing by Admin, as its clearly a fake post, not even a mistake. When its removed, so my post would also be removed, preserving the flow of the thread.

That's what the Russians would say, The Ukrainians would disagree.

Your claim of "ukrainians (sic) and the ruskies (sic) are both the same" is one of the oldest propaganda lines used to deny Ukraine's right to exist as a nation. It has been a staple of Kremlin messaging for decades, and it's remarkable how often it's repeated, almost word for word, by people like you in the West who imagine they're offering a nuanced take.

Ukraine isn't just a Russian province. Kyiv was the centre of Kyivan Rus' centuries before Moscow emerged was anything. Ukraine developed under different states, laws, religions and cultural influences than Muscovy. Ukrainians built their own language, literature, traditions and political institutions, despite repeated attempts by the Russian Empire to suppress them.

If Ukrainians are "just Russians," why did Peter the Great ban the Ukrainian language? Why did Soviet authorities crush Ukrainian independence? Why has the Kremlin spent generations insisting Ukraine isn't a real nation? Empires don't spend centuries trying to erase identities that don't exist.

And if shared history means one nation forfeits its sovereignty, should Austria belong to Germany? Should Ireland belong to Britain? Should Slovakia disappear into the Czech Republic?

Your poor argument collapses the moment it's applied consistently.

In 1991, 90% of Ukrainians voted for independence, including majorities in every region. In contrast, about 45% of the American colonists supported the Patriots.

This "they're really the same people" line is frequently echoed by sympathetic voices abroad and by others who repeat it without examining its historical basis. During the early Soviet period, Vladimir Lenin reportedly referred to certain unwitting Western supporters of Soviet interests as "useful idiots." People like you do all the work for Putin, and he's even paying you. So Lenin was right on this occasion.

Russia selling India oil at a discount, only to buy it back, sans discount

Major shortage in Russia: Putin orders purchase of millions of liters of kerosene from Japan

Ukrainian attacks on energy infrastructure are increasingly taking a toll on Russia. Due to shortages, kerosene is set to be imported from Japan, according to three people familiar with the matter speaking to the Reuters news agency. Plans call for at least 200,000 barrels (159 liters each, totaling just under 32 million liters) of kerosene to be loaded in Chiba, Japan, during the first half of July and shipped initially to South Korea. Insiders say multiple traders are involved in the complex deal. This move appears to be Russia's response to a severe fuel crisis caused by Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian oil refineries and depots. The government in Moscow has already imposed restrictions on fuel purchases, while farmers have warned that the harvest is at risk.

The major Russian city of St. Petersburg was once again targeted by drone attacks this morning. Explosions were reportedly heard in the city at 6:30 a.m. local time according to the Kyiv Independent, citing Russian Telegram channels.

The Ukrainian news agency RBC reports that an oil terminal at the port of St. Petersburg was hit. St. Petersburg is located more than 1,000 kilometers from Ukraine.

Danish firm unveils drone shield for Odesa coast

The grain terminal at Odesa

A Danish defence technology company says it has developed a new autonomous system designed to intercept Russian Shahed drones before they reach Ukraine's Black Sea coast, as Kyiv searches for new ways to protect critical ports and infrastructure from relentless aerial attacks.

BlueShadow says its proposed "Blue Dragon" system would use swarms of unmanned surface vessels to engage incoming drones up to 20 kilometres offshore, creating a new layer of coastal air defence.

Floating Drone Swarms Take Aim

The system combines autonomous boats with command-and-control software capable of sharing targeting data across an entire fleet. According to the company, the vessels can coordinate their movements, identify threats and decide which platforms are best positioned to intercept an incoming drone.

Each vessel is designed to carry multiple interceptors and can be configured with different payloads, including missiles, machine guns, quadcopters and, potentially, electronic warfare equipment as the technology evolves.

Designed for a Growing Threat

BlueShadow says the software has no practical limit on the number of drone tracks it can process, with overall interception capacity depending on how many vessels are deployed and how many interceptors each carries.

The company says the command platform is already undergoing internal testing, while the complete system remains under development. No deployment timeline has been announced.

Odesa Remains Under Constant Attack

The proposal comes as Russia continues to target Odesa and Ukraine's Black Sea shipping corridor with waves of drones and missiles. Recent attacks have damaged energy infrastructure, commercial vessels and port facilities, underlining the strategic importance of the region.

Repeated strikes have disrupted exports, threatened maritime trade and placed civilian infrastructure under sustained pressure.

Race to Protect Ukraine's Coast

Ukraine has increasingly relied on technological innovation to counter Russia's larger military resources, particularly in the fields of drones, autonomous systems and electronic warfare. New defensive concepts are being developed as rapidly as offensive capabilities evolve.

If the Blue Dragon system proves effective in operational use, it could provide Ukraine with an additional tool to defend one of its most economically and strategically important regions. For now, however, it remains a technology still progressing through the development phase rather than an operational battlefield capability.

Ukraine has launched one of its deepest drone attacks of the war, striking a major oil terminal in St Petersburg and claiming to have hit a key Russian naval base as Kyiv intensifies its campaign against Moscow's energy infrastructure.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said the targets were critical assets that generate revenue for Russia's war machine. The strikes reached around 850km from Ukraine's border, underscoring Kyiv's growing long-range capabilities.

Energy Lifeline Comes Under Fire

St Petersburg Governor Aleksandr Beglov confirmed the city came under a "massive" drone attack overnight, with the oil terminal among the sites hit. He said there were no casualties but urged residents to remain indoors while air defence operations continued.

Ukraine's military described the terminal as one of Russia's largest petroleum facilities, with an annual production capacity of 12.5 million tonnes. Footage released by Zelensky showed a drone approaching its target before thick black smoke rose into the sky.

Kyiv Targets Russia's War Economy

Ukraine says oil and gas facilities are legitimate military targets because fossil fuel exports help finance Russia's invasion. Kyiv claims its long-range strikes have now disabled nearly 43% of Russia's oil refining capacity, although that figure has not been independently verified.

The latest attack comes days after Russian President Vladimir Putin acknowledged fuel shortages caused by Ukrainian strikes and signed legislation aimed at strengthening domestic fuel supplies.

Naval Base Claim Raises Stakes

Ukraine also said it struck the Russian Baltic Fleet's key naval base in Kronstadt. Moscow has not publicly commented on that claim, although Russian authorities said 72 Ukrainian drones were intercepted over St Petersburg and the surrounding Leningrad region.

Russia's defence ministry later claimed more than 500 Ukrainian drones and missiles had been shot down overnight, accusing Kyiv of trying to divert attention from recent Russian battlefield gains.

Battlefield Claims Fuel Information War

The exchange unfolded as both sides clashed over the eastern town of Kostyantynivka. Putin claimed Russian forces had established control, but Ukraine flatly rejected the assertion, insisting its troops still hold the town despite Russian infiltration attempts.

Zelensky mocked the Kremlin's account, saying Putin would have no difficulty visiting the town if his claims were true. The competing narratives highlight how the war is being fought not only on the battlefield but also through claims, counterclaims and strategic messaging.

A luxury superyacht linked to Russian President Vladimir Putin has left European waters under heavy naval escort, with reports suggesting the vessel is being moved north to reduce the risk of Ukrainian drone attacks.

Maritime tracking data and satellite imagery indicate the 82-metre yacht, Graceful, is sailing along Norway's coastline towards the Arctic port of Murmansk. The journey comes as Ukraine expands long-range strikes against Russian military and strategic targets.

Heavy Escort Signals Security Fears

The yacht, reportedly worth around £100 million, has been seen travelling with anti-drone netting while escorted by two Russian Navy vessels, including the Udaloy-class destroyer Severomorsk and the rescue patrol ship Voevoda.

According to reports, NATO is monitoring the convoy as it heads north. German and Danish naval vessels also tracked the group while it transited the Baltic Sea before entering the North Sea.

Drone Campaign Forces New Calculations

The reported relocation follows Ukraine's recent strike on the Russian naval base at Kronstadt, near St Petersburg, where Kyiv claimed to have damaged key military assets deep inside Russian territory.

Satellite imagery has suggested a noticeably reduced naval presence at the base following the attack, fuelling speculation that Moscow is dispersing high-value vessels away from areas increasingly vulnerable to Ukrainian drones.

Luxury Vessel Shrouded in Secrecy

US government documents have previously linked Putin to voyages aboard Graceful, including a 2021 trip across the Black Sea with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko. The yacht features luxury amenities including swimming pools, a helipad, a gym and secure government communications equipment.

The vessel was moved from Germany to Russia shortly before Moscow's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. It was later sanctioned by the United States and subsequently renamed Kosatka.

Baltic No Longer Seen as Safe

The yacht had remained largely out of public view for several years before reappearing on maritime tracking systems during its passage through the Danish Straits. Its tracking signal later disappeared, although its escort vessel continued broadcasting its position as the convoy headed towards Murmansk.

The reported move underlines how Ukraine's expanding drone campaign is reshaping Russia's security calculations, extending the war's reach far beyond the battlefield and forcing even the Kremlin's most closely guarded assets to seek safer waters.

Russia's ammonium nitrate production plunges as Ukraine's deep strikes take toll

Russia has received another signal of problems in its wartime economy. After the fuel crisis, official statistics have now recorded a decline in ammonium nitrate production, according to the Center for Countering Disinformation.

Ammonium nitrate is a dual-use product needed by both the agricultural sector and the military-industrial complex.

According to Russia's Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), its production in Russia fell by 9% year over year. In May alone, output dropped 14% compared with the same month last year, marking the worst result since the beginning of the year.

The Center for Countering Disinformation links the decline to Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russian industrial facilities. Russian officials, meanwhile, attribute the slowdown to unscheduled maintenance.

Most recently, the Azot chemical plant in Russia's Tula region came under attack. It is one of Russia's largest producers of chemical products used by the country's military-industrial complex.

Russia moves troops through Mariupol disguised as civilian vehicles

The Russians are stepping up their offensive in the northern part of the Donetsk region, but they are no longer moving forces through Mariupol in the usual large columns. Their logistics have changed, according to Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation.

The Russians are now moving forces in small groups, using civilian vehicles as cover.

He noted that the entire convoy captured on video is for military purposes, although this is not always apparent from the outside. It is also accompanied by mobile fire support units.

Such movements are difficult to detect remotely, as they can be spotted primarily only through on-site observation.“ This clearly demonstrates how much more cautious and covert Russian military logistics have become,” Andriushchenko concluded.

Instead of large-scale assaults with armoured vehicles, they are increasingly attempting to infiltrate Ukrainian positions in groups of two or three soldiers.

Ukraine hits Russian oil tanker and fuel depot in occupied Crimea© RBC-Ukraine (UK)

Ukraine has intensified its long-range campaign against Russia's fuel supply network, launching overnight strikes on a Russian oil tanker in the Sea of Azov and a key oil terminal in occupied Crimea. The attacks target logistics that help sustain Moscow's military operations as the war enters another critical phase.

Fuel lifeline comes under fire

Ukraine's Special Operations Forces said Deep Strike units hit a Russian Volgoneft-class oil tanker during the night of July 6. The vessel was reportedly operating in the Sea of Azov and forms part of Russia's fuel transport network.

According to the Ukrainian military, vessels of this type are routinely used to move petroleum products between Russian oil refineries and deliver fuel supporting military logistics.

Kerch oil terminal targeted again

The operation also struck the oil terminal at the port of Kerch in the Russian-occupied Crimea region. Ukrainian forces described the facility as a critical fuel distribution hub supplying petroleum products across the occupied peninsula.

The terminal receives, stores and transfers oil between rail links, storage tanks and tankers, making it a key logistical asset. Ukrainian officials said the full extent of the damage is still being assessed.

Campaign against Russia's energy network expands

The strikes form part of Ukraine's wider effort to disrupt Russia's oil infrastructure far behind the front line. Kyiv has increasingly focused on refineries, fuel depots and transport hubs in an attempt to complicate Moscow's ability to sustain military operations.

Recent Ukrainian operations have also reportedly targeted an oil terminal in St Petersburg and one of Russia's largest oil refineries, extending the reach of its long-range strike capability.

Pressure grows beyond the battlefield

Ukraine's Special Operations Forces said the latest attacks are designed to weaken Russia's military logistics rather than target civilian infrastructure. The campaign has increasingly shifted the conflict beyond the front lines, forcing Moscow to defend strategic economic and transport assets hundreds of miles from active combat.

The Special Operations Forces also recently released footage showing strikes on a railway crossing over the North Crimean Canal, underlining Kyiv's determination to keep pressure on Russian supply routes in occupied Crimea.
