September 3, 2025Sep 3 Two people were taken to hospital after a United Express flight made an emergency landing in Austin, Texas. The aircraft, travelling from Houston, ran into severe turbulence that caused it to drop more than 4,000 feet within a single minute. Passengers described chaos in the cabin, with one person hitting the ceiling, others injured, and belongings thrown around. Oxygen masks fell from their compartments as the aircraft shook violently about an hour and a half into the journey. Following the sudden plunge, the crew diverted to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. The jet descended more than 25,000 feet in six minutes before landing safely, where medical teams met the injured passengers. Adapted From: Express.co.uk https://share.google/N0
