Democrats in Congress have released a note allegedly signed by US President Donald Trump and sent to Jeffrey Epstein for his 50th birthday.

After receiving a subpoena last month, the lawyers for Epstein's estate sent documents to the House Oversight Committee.

Democratic members of the committee then posted a copy of the alleged letter on X on Monday.

The White House said the signature on the letter was not Trump's. After the Wall Street Journal published details of the alleged note in July, Trump said it was "a fake thing" and denied writing it.

"These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don't draw pictures," he said at the time.

"President Trump did not draw this picture, and he did not sign it," White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said on Monday. "President Trump's legal team will continue to aggressively pursue litigation."

The signed note says, "Happy Birthday – and may every day be another wonderful secret."

The committee last month issued a legal summons for the executors of Epstein's estate to produce several documents, including a birthday book which contains the note purportedly from Trump.

Trump filed a lawsuit against the reporters of the Wall Street Journal, its publisher, and executives, including News Corp's owner Rupert Murdoch, after the newspaper published its story in the summer.

The newspaper's publisher, Dow Jones said at the time it had "full confidence in the rigour and accuracy of our reporting".

OI X, White House deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich posted several images of Trump's signature on Monday.

"Time for @newscorp to open that chequebook; it's not his signature. DEFAMATION!" Budowich wrote.

The Wall Street Journal reported in July that Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell created a birthday book for the financier in 2003.

IIt contained submissions from various acquaintances of Epstein, including a note that allegedly bore the name of Trump, who was his friend at that time.

Trump and Epstein were friendly for years, but the president has said he fell out with him in the early 2000s after the financier poached employees from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

EStein was first criminally indicted in 2006 in Florida for a state felony charge of solicitation of prostitution. He died in prison in 2019 while awaiting trial.

OK, let's see the apologists try coming out of the woodwork and defend THIS one. Of COURSE there was immediate denial from the Ministry of Truth, claiming it wasn't even 47's signature, though side-by-side signatures from the same time period are spittin' images.

Fooled you

A bit of forward planning on this one.

Insert ‘fake’ and incriminating letter into Epstein Birthday book twenty years ago on the off chance Epstein’s close friend and party wingman someday gets to be POTUS.

It's fake, so why would they need to do it 20 years ago?

No wonder they overlooked you for the job.

Because it’s not fake Jonny.

Do try to keep up.

Desperate stuff from the Libs.

Instead of creating all this AI fake news wouldn't you be better off finding some talent that might be able to win an election for The Dems?

Wait until next November. You will see a total repudiation of Trump and his minions. Going to be a whitewash regardless of political parties. People are waking up, seeing their terrible mistake, and vowing to do something about it come the mid term elections.

Now trot along and light some incense sticks before your portrait of the fragrant Donnie!

Thanks for the kind words Jahg.

Now, trot along back to AI to generate some pics of Trump killing puppies, or something. 😆

You have to 'admire' Karoline Leavitt's response.......and her ability to lie with such a straight face.......

“The latest piece published by the Wall Street Journal PROVES this entire 'Birthday Card' story is false. As I have said all along, it's very clear President Trump did not draw this picture, and he did not sign it.

W. T......???

I have not read any explanation yea or nay how this book got into the hands of the Epstein Estate executors.

Planted by agents working under cover for Biden or Obama......albeit 23 years ago.....such foresight!!!
