  • More likely the failing government want to avoid thousands of British patriots turning up to cheer Mr Trump while singing the popular anthem, "Starmer is a ******".

  • Come on Americans, don't be so serious. Just a bit of British banter taking the mick out of your compulsive lying president and his former mate(s).

  • More likely they're looking at what's going on in their country and wishing they had their own Trump to stop the invasion.

Probably DJ wasn't keen on his last visit to the UK.

And was it King Charles who personally invited Trump, or was it the UK government under Starmer?

As I am not privy as to who made that decision, I doubt that you were either, Nor do I believe that King Charles is disliked as much as you claim.

I seem to recall Starmer handing over a written invitation from KCIII in between genuflections.

I heard you could be arrested in the UK for supporting Trump, is that true?

As a British citizen I fully support rolling out the red carpet for Mr Trump and his beautiful wife.

He's always welcome. Hopefully he has time for dinner with our next PM, Mr Farage.

Dream on. A week is a long time in politics, never mind four more years.

As a "patriot", what do you think about Trump bullying your country and imposing tariffs which will negatively impact UK firms and jobs? :coffee1:

Hopefully, lots of public jeering.

Any truth to the rumour that Princess Di had a little tête à tête with Mr Epstein?

Trump's job is to look after America, not the UK. He is well within his rights to do that. That's what the US people elected him for.

Our own UK PM should be looking after the UK but he is an incapable, Britain loathing, lying leftist. Instead he is giving away British territory like the Chagos islands.

I am of course grateful that Brexit enabled us to get much lower tariffs than the EU did. Of course our lying duplicitous PM is working on reversing that by stealth. The Davos/EU loving snake.

I'd rather have a car salesman than a lying leftist human rights lawyer whose aim is to destroy the country he is pretending to lead.

The UK system does not work like that and it does not matter how things are going. There may be a new Labour Prime Minister by then however.

Waid, what? I thought the left told me all the poor Americans in red states were going to pay all the tariffs, no?

Brexit has been an unmitigated disaster, which is why no one really talks about it anymore.

If you knew how the UK system works you would know that there are in fact a number of ways the UK can have an early election.

2027 is more likely than 2026 though.

No it hasn't. It's been a huge success.

Of course, when Reform get in they will reap the benefits more than Remainers like May and Starmer who were trying to undermine it.

Deflections, as expected.

But Trump's tariffs will have a negative impact on your country and your fellow citizen, right?

As a "patriot", do you approve these tariffs? Do you agree with Trump's rethoric that the UK has been abusing the US and that it justifies such punitive tariffs?

I think this week's event in Utah show us that anything can happen, to almost anyone.

Absolutely  Americans are going to pay those taxes.

However, as prices of goods imported from UK will increase, exports should decline (to the extent to which the law of supply and demand applies in this case)!

I approve of leaders of nation states doing what is best for THEIR country.

I only wish we had a leader that was doing what is best for Britain instead of the lying, duplicitous, leftist Starmer and the tyranny that he has brought to the British people.

I salute Trump/Vance for standing up for the human rights of British people in the face of our lying tyrannical leader.

We are talking about a parimentary system and not an individual. Poltical violence in America is not in anyway surprising to me, especially with their incomprehensible love of guns. Indeed, I am surprised there isn't more.

Especially with all the violent, radical ANTIFA type leftists assassinating people they disagree with.
