Police in Phoenix arrested a man Sunday after he allegedly vandalized a memorial honoring conservative activist Charlie Kirk at the Turning Point USA headquarters. Kirk, founder of TPUSA, was shot and killed last week during an event at Utah Valley University in Utah.

Authorities identified the suspect as 19-year-old Ryder Corral. Witnesses said Corral damaged the tribute site, which had been decorated with flowers, balloons, and notes from supporters. Bystanders detained him until officers—already nearby managing traffic—arrived and made the arrest.

Video from the scene reportedly shows Corral stomping on the memorial before being confronted by community members. An officer quickly intervened, handcuffing Corral within seconds. No injuries were reported during the incident.

Phoenix police confirmed Corral will be booked on multiple charges, including criminal damage and disorderly conduct. The arrest comes as tensions remain high following Kirk’s death, which has sparked both mourning and political fallout nationwide.

Republicans have condemned online posts and public statements they claim have “belittled” Kirk’s memory or even praised the fatal shooting. The vandalism has further fueled GOP calls for action against those celebrating or minimizing the killing.

Kirk founded Turning Point USA in 2012 at the age of 18 and grew it into one of the most influential conservative youth organizations in the country. His killing on Wednesday—allegedly carried out by Tyler Robinson, who was arrested by the FBI—has left political allies and supporters reeling.

The Phoenix memorial remains a focal point for mourners as investigations and political battles continue over the impact of Kirk’s death.

Key Takeaways:

  • Ryder Corral, 19, arrested for vandalizing Charlie Kirk’s memorial in Phoenix.

  • Witnesses detained him before police handcuffed him on scene.

  • Incident adds to political tensions as Republicans condemn attacks on Kirk’s legacy.

I’m sure we can expect more of this nonsense. These extremest simply are unable to contain themselves.

On another thread one of the prominent hiveminders was just saying no lefties are celebrating Kirks murder.
