Believing others exist after your death is just another delusion, probably given to you by some religion. There is no life for you after death, nor for anyone else. Everything ends. It's possible this is true, yes. But then what to make of all the NDE's and palliative care nurses whose stories suggest that physical death may not be the end?

I describe death from my main character's perspective at the end of one of my books, Kepler-438b. Here are the last lines of the book describing his death. He was dreaming that he was going through a path, like a tunnel, in a jungle, moving towards a bright light.: "When he reached the end of the tunnel, the path to the light was obstructed by undergrowth. He pressed against the barrier and, all of a sudden, broke through to the light. It was as if he’d fallen off a precipice into a large chasm full of a blinding glare. He was falling. No, he was floating in pure light. His body was dissolving into the light. He was merging with it. He relaxed and gradually gave up his being to the light until there was nothing left, only… brilliance!"

Perhaps nobody on these forums cares about my books, but I have received many appreciative remarks about them on various outlets and Facebook. I can't comment about my own talent, but I have sold many books and continue to sell more every month. And I didn't write any of my books to gain a profit. I wrote them to share my ideas.
