It's objectively true that anyone who voted for Labour voted to be poorer and are getting poorer.  The upcoming budget will make people poorer still as Labour are a bunch of wastrels that have no idea how to control spending so will need to raise taxes again.  Farage is an unknown to some extent as he has never been in government, but to vote for the same 2 parties that got the UK into the mess it is in now would be an act of self harm and seeing your comments leave me in no doubt the thickest people in the UK will do so again.  

 

Farage is offering to reduce taxes, abandon the net zero scam, prevent foreigners from leaching off the welfare state and tackle illegal immigration.   Policies that (if enacted) will grow the economy (as reducing taxes always does), cut wasteful spending and not implement authoritarian measures such as mandatory digital ID which will waste countless more billions and do nothing.  

 

Seems to me that the choice is vote for one of the legacy parties who have a proven track record of waste, incompetence, corruption and making things worse or someone new.  No amount of doom mongering will change that when your heroes are doing such a terrible job.   I hope for your sake mandatory digital ID doesn't make it over the line as I imagine you would not want someone like Farage having such control over your life if he is as bad as you make him out to be.

Labour has a large majority and being well behind in the polls, Labour MPs are unlikely to vote against the party if that forced an election, as that would mean they would lose their seats.

They may change their leader if next May's local elections go badly, but I very much doubt they will call an election.

The 'correction' of the pound post-brexit is small fry in comparison to what is happening to the country right now through bad domestic governance and wishy-washy, EU-esque left wing policies. This country went through two world wars the young men didn’t leave their families behind and clear off expecting some other country to take them in and provide for them.

 

They stayed and fought for their family’s their country and their freedom.

 

These so called asylum seekers are men who have traveled through numerous safe countries where they could have applied for asylum if they were so concerned for their safety.

 

I don't think there are many people in this country that objects to much to genuine asylum seekers for instance women and children from Ukraine or Afghans that worked with British forces in Afghanistan and they and their families are now in danger from the Taliban.

 

What they don't want is boatloads of young men from Africa or wherever else they come from purely economic migrants that are only out for what they can get and we don't want them.

 

If they arrive without the required visa or permission to enter this country they should be arrested sent to a detention centre and deported.

 

Treat it as an emergency use special emergency powers to Ignore any attempt to use the courts to stop it or any other international court and use the army navy or air force to deport them.

 

Personally I dont have any time for Farage and dont think he would be good for the country but he may be the only one who will stop the boats.
