I firmly believe Starmer wanted a Deputy PM so inept that people would be terrified of Starmer leaving the job.

 

It would take a special kind of muppet for people to believe they could be a worse option than Starmer himself. Hence, he chose DEI Lammy. A man so catastrophically stupid he thought Henry VII succeeded Henry VIII.
