Can anyone please show where Trump has actually said he deserved the Nobel Peace Prize. I know he's said over and over that he's responsible for stopping 8 (9?) wars but I can't actually recal him saying "The Nobel Peace Prize should go to me".

This is a news article. I'm asking someone to show where he actually said "I deserve the Nobel Peace Prize." He's obviously alluded to his chances but as far as I recal he said "it's up to them." I never heard him say "They should give it to me." I'm not sure if he did which is why I asked if anyone can show he specifically stated this.

He actually he never said "they should give me." Deserving of and They should give it to me are two different things albeit on a semantic level. The former is not a directive wheras the latter is.
