Hi,

I have recently cancelled UBC/True vision and bought a satellite and dream box which gives me Supersport from South Africa. Few teething problems when it goes off, but overall excellent coverage of cricket and rugby so far. But, twice now I have turned to the channel in which they have advertised premiership football ( 1:45am last night ) to find it not on. On Saturday whilst watching the cricket, a message appeared that Man Utd v Reading was on S3, but when I went to that channel it was football from SA. Does anyone else use this system?, are you having the same problems? I thought it would show as much football as UBC, but so far it doesn't. Any thoughts?

There's two versions of SS3.

One is used for broadcasts outside of Africa (I think Multichoice is available in certain middle East countries) and the other is aimed at the African market (it's marked SS3A).

Most of the time SS3 and SS3A have exactly the same programming (international football), but when important African games are played, SS3A will carry the African games and SS3 will carry the international games.

Unfortunately, the only version of supersports available in Thailand is the South African version, so we don't have SS3, but only SS3A. So whenever an important African game is on, we're stuck with it!

You need to go to RDI Satellite Forum to get answers for your DreamBox.They are very helpful ,and have tons of info not only about the DreamBox,but the Sat. subject itself.Check it out, a lot of people from Thailand on there.
