I don't believe these sensational claims of 40 women, and I bet it was palace gossip exaggerated with each retelling. 

 

While not a solid rebuttal, I was at one of Andrew's Bangkok meetings (Business chamber meeting at Grand Hyatt Erawan) and I saw two very attractive Thai 'models' waiting by the door, and they left just before Andrew left the meeting.  They certainly did not look like foreign businessmen, so it's reasonable to assume they were Andrew's entertainment for the night.

 

I believe he was in Bangkok for 3 days and nights - so if he had two 'models' on the first night, he'd need to have 38 over the next 2 days.  I also know he had daytime meetings, so that would be 19 a night!  Impressive, but improbable.

 

Also, I'd estimate the age of the models to be about 25, and they didn't look like LB's to me either.

 

So while my personal recollections may be less than solid evidence, they are probably more robust than any sensational claims made in support of a book.
