That must be why he is known as Randy Andy.   He makes Bill Clinton look like alter boy.

  • No my wife runs a noodle stall now !

  • Ah man, it’s just lost in translation.   He asked the concierge to bring him “four teen prostitues”    Not fourty old bangers with their asses hanging out.

Sez he was going thru midlife crisis and 'chasing women'... I object to that! They were brought to him.. I doubt he even got up to open the door.

I assume his gofers didn't snatch them off the street... seems the bordello on independent contractors might want to include some "by appointments with his highness" blurb on biz card....

Some may condemn, but those 40 women got paid, and they used that money to buy food, pay rent, send cash off to Isaan.... the multiplier effect of money.

Billy Idol paid for all his hookers from money he made. Big difference from Andy.

Royal historian Andrew Lownie appears to be trying to market his book and make some more money.

Nooo wayyyyy. It goes against the royal traditions. Prostitution in BKK, no way? This is all made up. He is a good man. Forty made up lies. Andrew would never touch any underage girls, much less prostitutes. No wayyyy. Just because Andrew was a good friend of Jeff Epstein, the greatest philanthropist of science,  and used to spend days in his mansions and islands, it means absolutely nothing. Trump was a good friend of Epstein for forty years and absolutely nothing ever happened. Trump  was not aware of any wrong doing, no underage activities in his presence. All made up lies. God Save the Queen!

Another reminder of rule 4. You will not express disrespect of the King of Thailand or any member of the Thai royal family whether living or deceased. You will not criticize the monarchy as an institution. Speculation, comments or discussion of either a political or personal nature are not allowed when discussing His Majesty The King of Thailand or the Thai royal family. You will not link to or discuss any website which contravenes this rule.To breach this rule is a serious issue that will result in suspension or possible removal from the  forum.

The story is invented - we all know that there are no Ladies of the Night in the Land!

On a more sombre note I am more than glad, that QE2 and Prince Philip are longer here to see this ploughing through renegade royalty.

Disgraced former prince Andrew allegedly arranged for 40 prostitutes to be brought to his five-star Bangkok hotel during a UK taxpayer-funded trip to Thailand while serving as a UK trade envoy, his biographer has claimed. Royal historian Andrew Lownie made the accusation in a recent interview, stating that multiple credible sources, including a senior Thai official, corroborated the account. The revelation adds to the mounting controversies surrounding Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, who was stripped of his royal titles by King Charles III, following a series of damaging disclosures.

Lownie told the Daily Mail podcast Deep Dive: The Fall of the House of York that Andrew’s stay in Bangkok spanned four days and was one of several lavish trips funded by British taxpayers. “There was a famous trip to Thailand… Andrew is representing his country and insists on staying in a five-star hotel rather than the embassy, which he always did,” Lownie said. According to the author, the incident occurred in the early 2000s, when Andrew frequently travelled abroad under the guise of promoting British trade interests.

The biographer alleged that the prince used his position to pursue personal pleasures during his tenure as the UK’s trade envoy. “In 2001, Andrew is 41, he’s having his midlife crisis, and he basically starts chasing lots and lots of women,” Lownie said. He added that the royal “always puts in two weeks of private time” on his official trips.

Lownie further claimed that key files related to Andrew’s role as trade envoy between 2001 and 2011 remain sealed at the British National Archives. He called for their release, arguing that the continued secrecy amounts to a “conspiracy of silence” around the disgraced royal. “Andrew was sending a list of people he wanted to meet for his own personal business interests,” Lownie alleged, urging transparency in official records.

The new allegations come amid ongoing scrutiny of Andrew’s relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The fallout intensified following the posthumous release of Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s memoir, in which she repeated claims of being forced to have sex with Andrew as a teenager, allegations he has consistently denied.

Key Takeaways

• Biographer Andrew Lownie claims Prince Andrew hired 40 prostitutes during a 2000s UK taxpayer-funded Bangkok trip.

• The allegations add to scrutiny of Andrew’s conduct as UK trade envoy and his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

• Lownie calls for the release of sealed National Archives files covering Andrew’s envoy years.

Which would result in them being unelected in 4 or 5 years rather than fleecing the population to support an extended family and countless private estates for generations.

The majority of the Royals' money does not come from the taxpayer.  As to whether you would be better as a republic, remember that any change to the monarchy must be agreed to by Canada, Australia, India et al

Please think about this before you say that the monarchy is the issue.  HORIZON IT, THE IMMIGRATION problem, as well as all the other issues, were not created by the Monarchy.  They were created by the people who you want to put in charge of the Republic.

The king has a limited say in matters, but not a significant one in the national scheme; yet, he oversees numerous projects that he maintains not only in the UK but also around the world.

It should also be pointed out that giving Randy Andy the trade portfolio was the idea of the British government and tht the Royal family was against it.  Blair voted down King Charles.

Also you might look at some other countries that have a king or queen and see how they run or their issues   Check out that great bastion called Norway for instance.

You insinuated I wanted a republic like that of the French when there are many other, some would argue better examples to choose from.

I was a bit surprised that he was selected to represent the Queen at the cremation in 2017.

Wonder how that will be reflected in the history books.

My issue with the royal family is not so much them per se (although scandal after scandal doesn't help their cause much) but rather what they represent. They are the head of 'The Aristocracy' that includes Dukes, Marquess, Earls, Viscounts, Lords and Barons who through nothing other than birthright, own nearly 40% of the UK's land and dodge paying inheritance tax through family trusts established generations ago. The Grosvenor family for example, headed by the Duke of Westminster, is the wealthiest aristocratic family in the UK, with over $13 billion in wealth from their property portfolio alone - a portfolio that comes from centuries-old inheritance dating back to 1677. And what exactly do they do for the public to warrant such wealth? Unlike the Royals who at least put in the hours and represent the UK to the world stage, all these Dukes, Marquess, Earls, Viscounts, Lords and Barons do sweet FA other than a bit of charity work here and there. They get to enjoy fantastic wealth and privilege through nothing more then being born to the correct family and give nothing back in terms of social service.

The UK could certainly benefit from a lot less of these leaches.

So UK taxpayers paid for 40 prostitutes?

Around 200.000 Baht? Starmer should ask for it. But I'm afraid there would be empty pockets only

For all we know, there could be some little Andrews running around Thailand not knowing that they are royalty connected.

Billy Idol's crazy Thai exploits were paid for with money that he earned.

Billy did not enjoy having a Foreign Service flunky pay for prostitutes with money taxed from the people of the UK.
