  • Is there anything wrong with refusing unlawful orders?

  • During the Nuremberg trials, the defense of, "I was just following orders," was rejected and those engaged in murder were hanged. In 2025, those strikes on boats traveling on the open seas are illegal

Law of Armed Conflict (LOAC) is also required training.  I retired from the military years ago but I recall it was training required at least annually.  The squadron also had refresher training before any deployment.

The term "illegal orders", used by the 6 Dem members of Congress, didn't contain any specifics.  Obviously, being ordered to shoot/kill an innocent civilian would be illegal.  However, it today's battlefield, the enemy combatants aren't so easily easily distinguishable...meaning the enemy doesn't necessarily wear a uniform.

"meaning the enemy doesn't necessarily wear a uniform".

Terrorist  for one example.

It's useful to remember that Pete Hegseth pushed strongly for the pardon of a soldier named Clint Lorance who was convicted of murder. This guy was so evil that he was turned in by his own men. It's part of a larger trend by the Trump administration to pardon soldiers convicted of war crimes. Hegseth has also eviscerated JAG, which among other duties, advises the military on Constitutional constraints on their use of force.

The USA has become to soft on Crime, especially the drugs that are sent in ,that help kill thousands. The Criminal enterprize surrounding illegal hard core drugs has always been a crisis.  And now the Dems 6 of them are giving advice to the Military .The same dems who were in charge in the Afghan departure and  Gaza and Ukraine conflicts.

“In your professional military opinions, if we started killing narcoterrorists and sinking Chinese ships that are bringing poison into the Western Hemisphere, would that reduce the amount of stuff coming into the Western Hemisphere and reduce the amount of American citizens that are being poisoned to death?” he asked.

Reply by the Military:“Well, I think if we aggressively stop them, it will, it will bring it down,” he said.

As is murdering civilians on small boats in international waters under ANY excuse. The order to do so is an illegal order, no matter WHO gives that order, and the responsibility goes all the way up from the person who actually gave that order to the person in charge of the military and beyond, unless a specific order not to do so, in writing, has been issued.

Tell us about Baracks murder of a US citizen.

You mean the terrorist that there was credible evidence was planning attacks on American targets. That dual citizen? I asked Grok (AI) about that and here is the answer.

So not at all anything like firing on drug smugglers not even heading to the US, obviously.

Anything else you wonder about, buddy?

I cannot help you with your reading comprehension, buddy. It's pretty clearly laid out in the AI answer.

BTW, which citizens are you referring to?

How is Trump a traitor?

I can't be a***d to spell it out again. He tried to prevent the legal transfer of power.

They are not charged with a crime.   Obama's extrajudicial killings were illegal.

Fifth Amendment

If only the current s**t show of an administration was as knowledgeable of the US constitution as you are then dozens/hundreds of people wouldn't have their rights trampled on by the US Gestapo on a daily basis!

Yeah right, suppose you believe the insurgents that killed countless people in Afghanistan and al-qaeda that killed thousands of civilians in the US are innocent civilians too. Terrorist are designated enmity combatants, doesn’t matter what method they use to kill Americans.

Does no one think it strange that with a heck load of warships in the Caribbean they have not even bothered to capture one of those boats and searched it, then photographed the cargo - before murdering the crew?

The Coast Guard has seized over 500,000 lbs of cocaine on the Caribbean in 2025

Unlike the first hand evidence of creepy Joe Biden where his daughter, Ashley Biden, describes showers taken with her father when she was a child as "probably not appropriate."

Ludicrous statement. That is not the mission of a warship.

What the mission of any warship is, depends on the orders it's given.

Hope this helps.

How many people did they have to kill to accomplish that?

Did they ever stop any boats that didn't have cocaine in them?

Did they blow them up with the crews on board anyway?

Well done, blazes, you're getting there!
