Trump Accuses Democrats of Sedition, ‘Punishable by Death,’ Over Message to the Military

President Trump accused a group of Democratic lawmakers of sedition in an outburst on social media Thursday morning and said their behavior was “punishable by death.”
Their crime? Recording a video that reminded members of the military that they are not supposed to obey illegal orders.
“SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” Mr. Trump wrote in one post. He shared a different post, written by another person, that said: “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!”

He can't really besmirch his own name any more than he's already done, but now he has to do the same to George Washington?

His spokewoman later denied that Trump was calling for their execution.

Later he called them seditious traitors, but in a bow to moderation he followed that with "Lock them up?"

Yes. The thread is very badly titled, probably deliberately.

Its a story based on a Fox News report where the extreme left doesn't mention what illegal or legal orders their referring to.

"The left can't win elections without their style of Dem Democracy, in this case  encouraging military to disobey orders from the Commander & chief.

Six Congressional Democrats urge military members to 'refuse illegal orders' in new video

"Slotkin and her colleagues have spent recent weeks introducing legislation to limit President Trump’s ability to deploy National Guard members domestically or launch military action against narcoterrorists without congressional approval".

"None of that context appears in the video, titled "Don’t Give Up the Ship," which instead frames the appeal as a warning to military members to "stand up for our laws" and "refuse unlawful orders."

"It's a story is based on a FoxNews report".

That says it all!  One would hope that this Forum would be less biased.
