The Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) is officially shutting its operations in Gaza, following chaos during aid distribution efforts that started in late May. GHF suspended its activities amid a ceasefire last month, after attempts to change the aid delivery model largely failed. The foundation's director, John Acree, and Israeli sources confirmed the closure.

 

Both the US and Israel tasked GHF with providing aid to Palestinians without assistance reaching Hamas. Operating in southern and central Gaza, GHF faced turmoil as thousands of Palestinians desperately sought food at limited distribution sites. According to the United Nations, more than 2,100 Palestinians died while attempting to obtain aid near GHF locations, amid accusations of inadequate security and oversight.

 

The foundation initially sought to replace the UN's aid efforts and planned further expansion across Gaza—however, these plans fell through as international focus returned to the UN. GHF has claimed it delivered well over 187 million meals, but it faced significant backlash over its operations' impact, including allegations of shootings by Israeli forces at aid sites, reported CNN.

Foolish assumption when there is no government in Gaza. IDF control 52% of Gaza. Rest of Gaza are in the hands of criminals, clans, militias and even ISIS. Israel has created the political instability which is their agenda to subjugate Gaza.

You lack critical thinking. Hamas still has 20,000 against IDF 630,000 active & reserves. Hamas weapons mainly small arms, light weapons, mortar, rockets while IDF has advance weapons and system from US and the Iron Dome. Hamas no longer a threat to Israel since the day Israel declared war. It is now 2 years since the war started and Israel is continuing the genocide with NO resistance from Hamas. Israel killings are unhindered.

Rubbish.

Any Hamas leftovers are not trained fighters. Israel tried subjugation by starvation. Who cares if a few thousand children died. This aid effort offered starvation rations provided by Israel which became easy targets for the IDF.

    Israel still rule Gaza , they are still the Government in Gaza .

Hamas want to be the Gaza Government in the future .

If Hamas remain, they will rule Gaza in the future and they will attack Israel again .

    Hamas need to be completely eradicated , not just weakened

The answer is because Hamas are there and taking all of Gaza would result in many casualties .

  Hamas are the reason why the war hasn't yet finished .

There are mybeloved by any stretch of your fantasy. I even cheered Israel in the beginning of their Gaza war. It their daily assault and disproportionate use of force and disregard for the civilian population that I condemned. It is 2 years of endless killings with a heavy toll on civilans and children that disgust me. IDF is killing because they can with no resistance. This is not a war but just senseless killings. It must be condemned.
