The Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF) has expanded Wing 56 Hospital in Songkhla, establishing a mobile facility to provide emergency care and oxygen support for flood-affected locals.

The mobile hospital is set up within Wing 56 Hospital's compound in Klong Hoy Khong district, with medical teams and equipment from Bangkok and other provinces aiding locals while other hospitals struggle to resume operations. It also refills oxygen tanks for local medical facilities, ensuring continuous support.

On November 27 and 28, oxygen supplies were provided to Tambon Ban Phru Hospital and a border patrol police company. Additional support was given to Southern Border Patrol Police Command, distributing oxygen to Songkhla Nakharin and Hat Yai Hospitals.

The mobile hospital offers 24-hour emergency care, handling up to one critical case and four emergency cases at a time, with surgical and medical expert support. It has been operational for six days and will continue until the flood situation stabilizes.

Approximately 200 patients have received treatment, with mobile medical teams visiting communities to offer medical guidance. Residents can access the hospital services from 8 am to 4 pm and contact 078-404-4890 for inquiries, reported The Nation.
