There is a correlation between anti semitism and mental illness as well as violence. But most of the danger would be to women and children, antisemites are usually two cowardly to face men.

More than 9,000 children in Gaza were hospitalised for acute malnutrition in October, according to new data from the United Nations.

The figures highlight a worsening humanitarian crisis, even two months after a ceasefire was declared. Aid groups say food and medical access remain severely limited.

“In Gaza’s hospitals I have met several newborns who weighed less than one kilogramme, their tiny chests heaving with the effort of staying alive,” said Tess Ingram, spokesperson for UNICEF.

Roughly 8,300 pregnant and breastfeeding women were also hospitalised for acute malnutrition in October.

UNICEF says this trend is deeply troubling and will likely lead to a surge in low birthweight babies across the Gaza Strip in the coming months.

What are you talking about?

I know Jesus was a Jew and it says in the bible he was circumcised, I forget where. The bible is a great book, well mostly the New Testament.

I celebrate the birth of Christ and am currently reading The Imitation of Christ, and last book was New seeds of Contemplation by Thomas Merton.

I respect Judaism, but not the ultra orthodox right wing monsters like Ben Gvir, Smotrich, Netanyahu etc, and those Israelis that keep voting these monsters into power, which is the majority, obviously.

You are the one that supports Israel, doesn't want a 2 state solution as you believe you are superior to Muslims.

You have not once condemned the Israeli illegal settlements, which speaks volumes about your moral compass.

So Palestine has no right to defend itself, Gazans tried peaceful, unarmed protests but were shot at by the IDF terrorists.

Here’s a **summary of major attacks *from Gaza into Israel*** (primarily rocket barrages, cross-border raids, and major militant offensives) **since 2005**. It includes key flare-ups where Palestinian militant groups based in Gaza—mainly Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad—launched attacks into Israeli territory: ([Mideast Journal][1])

Israel is a pure democracy and relies on proportional representation. As a result, it is difficult to obtain a majority government and coalitions must be built. 61 seats are needed for a  majority government. I think 40 or so political parties participated in the last election.

Netanyahu's party only  obtained 32 and 23% of the vote.Netanyahu does not have anywhere close to a majority support and his coalition partners are with him because they benefit from participation in the government. My understandiung is that some of his partners would gladly toss him under a bus if they could. He is hanging on with 60 seats in his coalition.  The once mighty Labour party received less than 3.7% of the vote and only 4 seats. The United Arab party received 4% and 5 seats.  It'sd like an Opra Christmas giveaway. A seat for any group that can get more than 3% of the vote.

It is nice that you know what voters want in Israel. However, it seems that they all have their own agenda. I suppose Israel could abandon democracy and move to a dictatorship like all of its Arab neighbors, but then you would complain about thatb too.

My view on a two state solution is irrelevant as the West Bank and Gaza. arabs already rejected the  option. They were the ones who  declined it in 2000. The westerners chanting from the River to the Sea certainly do not support that "solution", since it means the elimination of Israel. Instead of demanding that Israel accept your plan, why not ask your  arab friends to accept the state of Israel? Hamas has pledged itself to the destruction of Israel and the.elimination of all jews. So too has Hezbollah and much of the msulim world. Why then would you expect Israel to  assist the people who want to kill them off? It is not as if the western world, let alone any arab country will defend Israel. Israelis  have  learnt long ago that  they must  defend themselves since no one else will.

I have nothing to do with Israeli settlements and expect that they will continue  until such time as the Arabs accept the state of Israel. Personally, I think they are foolish and will have to eventually be demolished or transferred out if there is ever a peaceful resolution. However, I do not believe that the  Arabs are capable of that for another generation or two. Why would Israel  bother placating  anyone now since there is no benefit to it? Anytime Israel has offered peace the Pally Arabs have refused. FAFO.

How blind can one be.

This claim leaves out the obvious context. The “offer” in 2000 was not a viable sovereign state, and Palestinians had clear reasons to reject it - Gaza was already under severe restrictions, the West Bank would have been fragmented into disconnected enclaves, borders and airspace would not have been fully controlled by Palestinians, and Jerusalem and refugees were effectively taken off the table. Calling that a fair option is misleading.

It’s also false to suggest rejectionism only runs one way. After 2000, negotiations at Taba showed both sides were closer than ever - yet talks were abandoned, settlements expanded, and Gaza was later blockaded. You can’t keep offering a shrinking, non-sovereign entity and then blame the other side for saying no. Refusal didn’t happen in a vacuum; it happened because the terms failed to meet basic standards of statehood, dignity, and security.

OK. israel is very bad. You have convinced everyone.

Arabs do not have the right to vote. The 5 Arab MKs are imagined.

The universal access to health care and education does not exist.

And away the straw-man arguments go.

No serious critic claims that Israeli Arab citizens do not exist, do not vote, or are imaginary. Of course they vote. Of course there are Arab MKs. Of course Israeli Arabs have access to healthcare, education, and employment under Israeli law. That is not the debate, and pretending it is only avoids the real issues.

The issue is systemic inequality, not total exclusion.

Even within Israel proper:

  • Arab towns receive significantly lower per-capita funding than Jewish towns.

  • Housing permits are disproportionately denied to Arab citizens, while Jewish settlements expand.

  • Over 65 laws have been identified by Israeli legal groups that explicitly or effectively privilege Jewish citizens.

  • The Nation-State Law (2018) formally enshrines Jewish self-determination as exclusive, downgrading Arabic and placing Arab citizens outside the core national identity of the state.

Now to the part that is always waved away:

The West Bank and Gaza are not Israel’s moral blind spot – they are the core of the criticism.

  • Palestinians there do not vote in Israeli elections despite living under Israeli military control.

  • They are governed by military law, while Jewish settlers next door live under civil law.

  • Movement is restricted by checkpoints, permits, and segregated road systems.

  • Land seizures, home demolitions, and settlement expansion occur under a legal system Palestinians cannot access equally.

These are not Arab propaganda points.
They are documented by:

  • Israeli human rights organisations

  • Former Israeli Supreme Court judges

  • Ex-IDF officers

  • International legal bodies

Pointing this out does not mean “Israel is always wrong” or that the Arab or Muslim world is always right. That’s a false binary.

You can acknowledge that:

  • Israel is a functioning democracy for its citizens

  • AND that it operates a two-tier legal and political system in territories it controls

Both can be true at the same time.

And finally, it is increasingly difficult to establish any uncontested truth at all, because access and information are now part of the battlefield. Israel has severely restricted foreign journalists’ access to Gaza, meaning much reporting relies on second-hand sources, military briefings, or limited embeds. Even major outlets like the BBC have publicly acknowledged that they cannot independently verify large parts of what is happening on the ground due to these restrictions. When journalists cannot freely report, when narratives are controlled, and when access is denied, certainty disappears – and suspicion grows.

Calling criticism “propaganda,” “brainwashing,” or “Stockholm syndrome” doesn’t address any of this. It just avoids engaging with uncomfortable facts.

You don’t need two moral standards.
You just need one – applied consistently.

The first part of your post has been perfectly answered (and debunked) by @RobKray.

To answer the second part:

Your embrace of a one set of legal parameters for Israel and another for the region Israel has occupied and illegally settled on is remarkable for its ignorance.

Same as your implication the whole thread is about comparing Israel to it`s neighboring countries to determine who is always wrong and so bad and who is always right.

Israel presents itself as a modern democracy so it should be compared to modern democracies.

In truth it is a nation state apartheid country.

Israel demands for itself maximum security while offering zero security for the other states in the region, which it invades as it pleases, like those 7 countries in the last 2 years.

And it has a very unhealthy influence on the most powerful countries in the West by making them send Israel Hundreds of Billions of Dollars which their own health or education systems desperately need and sacrifice their young men and women in wars for "freedom" or to "find weapons of mass destruction" which even if they existed would never pose a threat to those countries and only lead to more destabilization of the region which again only Israel benefits from.

Israel has committed horrible war crimes in Gaza, yet kept denying them and only if the proof was overwhelming would mumble something like "Mistake" and as usual play the prima donna.

Same as you in your last sentences.

A post containing social media links was removed, as was a post containing too many nested quotes.
