Hi

I have had an iP1000 for couple of years and as we live in the boonies stock up with ink on visits to town.

Some time ago the iP1000 started playing up and not printing properly so reluctantly on the last visit to town had to buy a new printer.

I like Canon and bought an iP3300 the cheapest I could find with separate color cartridges.

I now have iP3300 which uses No8 cartridges but of ink refills for the iP1000 which uses No24.

Can I use the iP1000 ink in the iP3300 ?

In the computer shop where they refill cartridges they have just one bottle marked Canon for all Canon printers, yet if you buy the refill packs they are distinctly labeled for specific printer models.

Any thoughts, comments or experiences appreciated :o

For Canon all ink is the same! So you can use what you get!
