Banglamung Hospital informed the Banglamung police at 4am on 17th August that two teenagers with a gunshot wounds were brought in and needed the police to investigate.

We arrived to find a lot of teenagers waiting in front of the emergency room for their two friends. We asked them and found that the two boys were both aged 16 and they were all together when the shootings took place.

One of the members told us that their group was returning on bikes from visiting a friend in Huay Yai area earlier that night. On Sukhumvit Road, they overtook a Toyota Vigo pickup truck that was driving extremely slowly. They saw three men inside and somehow they must have angered the men because they started chasing them and then fired numerous gunshots and the two friends were hit.

Description of the pickup truck was taken by the police and they are now searching for the gunmen.

Thais are more dangerous with vehicles than firearms.

'dangerous' is too kind a word.....it conveys a requirement for a certain respect...........in this context no respect is required (or deserved).
