I'll be in Chiang Mai for the week.

 

On the actual day, I'll be going out to Why Not? Italian Buffet in Nimman. It's an annual tradition for me and my ex-wife. Both of our Chiang Mai friend groups merge for a couple of hours.

 

And there's a nice woman up there who I knew a bit from when I lived there. We've been whats'apping.

 

She knows my ex. Not quite a fit for the friend groups party. Unless we unexpectedly consummate.

It's still happening, they are just fine tuning things probably posting location, time and date tomorrow. 

 

I heard they were having trouble sourcing a weapons detector, needed for entry into the venue. The specific detection unit they require is a Plutonium weapons detectors, it senses unique radiation signatures of plutonium, primarily neutrons and gamma rays through spectrometers. 

They have typical detection unit for guns and knives etc. 

 

Sadly, we have a few screwballs here, can't be too careful, we don't want any tragedies.

Can I ask you to zip it. This was a talk about a public event, so it´s everybody´s business. If you have a private party you are going to, then just open a thread and talk about there. This is not the right place.

So now Gorgie, if you know where to go regarding this announced party, please share. But, as we all know, you don´t have a clue. We also know that it was just a lot of talk, and never was going to be any party.

After that, please feel free to join the discussion, but stop tell people what to do and deliver something of value instead.

Surely, proper people should be in Church celebrating the day and then gathering with family for a Christmas meal. 

'Proper people' celebrate on different days of the year. Christmas parties aren't generally held on Christmas Day, as that day is usually spent with family.
