You don't need to do that. You currently have Non immigrant status.

All you are doing is changing the basis for extension from marriage to retirement.

By "transfer" assume you mean change from extension based on marriage to based on retirement.

For that you would require 800k in the bank for two months prior to application then maintained for next three months then not below 400k in following months then back up to min 800k two months prior to next application for extension.

I just renewed my Retirement extention last month in Ubon, the Imm lady told me she wanted to talk with my wife, when i got home my wife told me they wanted to know the exact location of the house.
