I'll be arriving at Suvarnabhumi soon and planning to rent a car for a few days. I see the usual international brands at the airport, but I've also heard that some local companies can offer better prices.

Is it better to book directly at the airport or pre-book online? Mainly looking for something reliable without overpaying. Any recent experiences would be appreciated.

If reliability and price matter, pre-booking online is definitely the way to go. It gives you time to read the rental terms, check reviews, and make a decision without feeling rushed after landing. I've used Vipcars in the past just to compare prices and get a general idea of what was reasonable, and it made choosing a rental much easier. When we arrived, everything was already sorted, which was nice after a long flight.
