PNP Suspends Central Visayas Gun Permits for ASEAN Summit

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has announced a temporary suspension of firearms permits in Central Visayas from January 15 to January 31, 2026, in preparation for hosting the ASEAN Summit and related meetings. The suspension starts at 12:01 AM on January 15 and ends at 11:59 PM on January 31. The PNP, AFP, and other law enforcement agencies are exempt from this suspension when on official duty for the summit.
