I don't think anyone can blow the letter out of proportion. DJT has blown his own dementia up.

It was a text message not a letter. But facts just dont come into your thinking - 3 little letters?

Let me get this straight. The Nobel committee, named after a famous Swedish scientist and inventor, with no formal ties to any sovereign country that awards various prizes for endeavours that benefit

Did you reads those links I provided that proved you wrong?? Obviously not.

The Secretary talked about how Politicians put pressure on the Committee Members NOT to vote for certain candidates at times - and that they voted for Obama for political reasons - not for what he had done/achieved. Your claims they are not influenced is patently wrong. And anyone with any knowledge about politics knows that there is influence being applied in all things - Trump knows that certain people pressured the Committee members not to select him - in maybe 15-20 years someone else who no longer is involved will do that the past Secretary did and speak out.

And this will completely shake your ignorance - maybe for the better - I do not believe Trump should be been selected - and I have never said he should have been. I pointed out the FACTS - there is and was political pressure being applied as Trump claimed - and your claim the Committee members are never influenced are completely at odds with reality. I cannot say the 3 letters involved but they are obvious.

Goodbye and have a great life.

First, let me just inform you how this works, since you are obviously not aware. Candidates have to be officially nominated before January 31st, at that point Trump had been in office for 10 days or so. But he indeed was nominated, that is confirmed.

Some time in February, the 5 members have their first meeting, discussing the nominees, trying to get through each one.

At their next meeting a couple of months later, the list is being narrowed down to a shortlist of people or organizations, which they will move forward on. Then they will have some additional meetings to come to a conclusion.

They have strict rules about not involving anyone from outside, before the decision is made, just prior to the date it is announced. No leaks, and they have been really good at keeping it secret.

However, it seems it was leaked one day before the announcement this year, after a betting scandal came to light. So even a one day leak, was a pretty big scandal this year, and they did some measures to avoid that in the future.

If there have been issues earlier years, they are pretty quick to address them. So in that regard, 2009 (if there was any issues) is not 2025. Even this committee learn as they go, in this era of internet and politics.

So back to this, in fact, the committee was judging the nominees from what they did pre Jan. 31st 2025.

Now, there has been a very few exceptions, the committee may add a few months into the same year, but that rarely happens.

There is no influence or any directives driven by anyone else in this process. These meetings are highly kept a secret. What you think is completely irrelevant. Your links does not prove one thing or another. The committee will always feel the pressure from outside, there sure are politics involved, no doubt. We live in a political world. But this board is chosen for their ability to keep their integrity at all times, and not share what their decision will be.

And that's what they have done all these years. Of course some times their decision will align with what was expected, other times, it will not. That's the whole idea about this price, and why the process is so locked down and private. They are not working for any government, they are independent, working after Alfred Nobel's testament. These are facts.

When it comes to Trump, because of this, he was not eligible for this prize in 2025, but unfortunately (in my opinion), he could be for 2026. I'm sure he will be nominated again before the 31st this year, and his "8 wars" are within the timeframe for how this is set up. Not many are talking about this date, because they do not know how this works.

To see Donald Trump whine about all this, being sure that the Norwegian government had something to do about this, is just sad rambling from an old man. It's pathetic. Because he, and you, are way off here. In Norway we can't do anything else but laugh about the whole thing. It's just too embarrassing to witness. What a small man Trump is.

And Støre himself is shaking his head, and the Norwegian press is of course aware that this makes no sense. It has been explained to Trump so many times, by Støre, but he just won't listen.

Nor do you btw. And on top of that, you think you sit on the truth here. It's nonsense, and we know it, all the 5.3 million of us Norwegians.

It's a reason we have these Nobel committees in Sweden and Norway, because people trust us to be fair and unbiased.

To answer your last wish. Thank you, that was big of you. I'm very happy with my life. Wish you all the best as well.
