<p> Despite being in its low season, the Krabi International Airport still sees a total of over 20 flights per day, according to the airport’s Director Paisarn Jinacharn. The airport currently accommodates six Thai Airways flights daily, two from OneTwoGo and four by Nok Air flights, while Bangkok Airways is scheduled to fly Samui & Bangkok routes to Krabi in October, all on domestic routes. Among international carriers, Tiger Airways also flies from Singapore twice a day on most days, Air Asia starts direct flights from Kuala Lumpar today, while My Travel Airways will also restart its charter flights from Europe to Krabi in October. The latest figures in July 2007 show 695 flights or an increase of 88% on July 2006, with 28,698 passengers arriving or 65% more and 28,294 departing or 68% more. Cargo in and out totaled 76,616 kilograms or 5% more.
