A pregnant woman unexpectedly gave birth on a street corner in Taguig City, prompting swift response from local authorities. On Friday, January 23, at 11:15 p.m., personnel from the Taguig City Police Station – Sub-Station 12 assisted the 38-year-old resident after she went into labor near Baymart Plaza on Gen. Santos Avenue. Scheduled to deliver at the Taguig-Pateros District Hospital, the woman's labor began unexpectedly on the way there.

Despite the unusual location, she successfully gave birth to a baby girl with the assistance of Police Officers Alashraf Khusin and Royden Alcaraz, who were on duty at the time. Following the delivery, the mother and newborn were immediately taken to a Lying-In Clinic for appropriate medical attention and care. This quick and efficient action by the officers ensured the safety and health of both mother and child.

In a statement, the Taguig City Police commended the officers for their prompt response and calm handling of the situation.
