The Office of the Anti-Money Laundering Commission (AMLO) will hold a public auction of seized luxury assets, offering 130 items including branded handbags, wristwatches, shoes and other valuables, with bidding set to take place in early February. The auction is expected to attract strong interest from collectors and buyers due to the presence of high-end international brands and comparatively low starting prices.

This will be AMLO’s third auction of seized assets in 2026, officially listed as Auction No. 3/2569. The auction will be held on 3 February 2026 at AMLO headquarters, located at 422 Phaya Thai Road, Wang Mai subdistrict, Pathum Wan district, Bangkok. Registration for bidders will open at 08.30, with the auction scheduled to begin at 10.00 at the area in front of Meeting Room 101 on the first floor.

The assets being sold are items that have been seized and transferred to AMLO under anti-money laundering procedures. Such auctions are routinely organised by the agency to dispose of confiscated property and return proceeds to the state in accordance with the law. Interested participants will be allowed to inspect the condition of all items one day prior to the auction, on 2 February 2026, between 09.30 and 15.30 at the same venue.

Among the most notable items is a Patek Philippe Aquanaut Travel Time model 5164A, listed as item number 102, with a starting price of 2,000,000 baht. Another high-value piece is a Patek Philippe Nautilus, item number 113, with a starting price of 1,700,000 baht. Several Rolex watches are also included, such as a Rolex Daytona with a starting price of 550,000 baht and multiple Lady Datejust and two-tone models priced between 150,000 and 250,000 baht.

Designer handbags are also featured prominently in the catalogue. These include a Louis Vuitton Neverfull with a starting price of 15,000 baht, as well as Chanel bags priced from 30,000 to 100,000 baht, depending on the model and colour. Other luxury watches from brands such as Hermes are also part of the auction list.

AMLO has advised interested bidders to review auction rules and asset details in advance through its official website. Further information can be obtained from the AMLO hotline by calling 1710. The auction proceeds will be handled in line with existing regulations governing seized assets.

Thaitabloid reported that as the auction date approaches, bidders are expected to attend the inspection day to assess item conditions before deciding whether to participate. The event will proceed as scheduled unless otherwise announced by AMLO through its official channels.

So who gets the money ???

AMLO is a government agency.

So hopefully it goes to state coffers.

If it was a serious question 😊
