The UN Security Council has outlived it usefulness and reflects a 100% Western view on the Unprovoked Attack by the US and Israel in its War of Aggression on Iran. The US attacks Iran, which is a war of aggression - the exact thing that got the Nazi leadership hung in Nuremberg - and because it controls the Security Council, it end up condemning the victim of the attack. I fully expect the UN to dissolve soon as they don't represent the majority of the entire world's interests. There shouldn't be a "top-dogs" voting block which is a relic of post-WWII "winners and losers." It simply does not reflect the reality of the world today. And the Security Council vote "condemning" Iran's defensive attacks on host countries hosting the bases of the aggressor is the ultimate of hypocrisy.And...How could USA-Trump have so vastly underestimated Iran's military?H U B R I SAnd he is still at it.

March 15Mar 15 Let's analyze this:The United States of America has beaten and completely decimated Iran..." 👈 Propaganda:1. Repetition (The "Big Lie" Technique)2. Exaggeration and Hyperbole (Magnification of Threat or Victory)3. Assertion and Omission (Bare Assertion Without Evidence)4. Bandwagon and False Consensus (Creating Perceived Majority Support)5. Disinformation and Narrative Control (Hybrid Warfare Element)..but the Countries of the World that receive Oil though the Hormuz Strait must take care of that passage - translated, "Send a naval armada."Assumption:We, the United State of America, have the Most Powerful Military on Earth and have wiped out Iran's Navy.Iran is totally defeated, the US has won!!!Probably outcomes:Mini subs and small fighting ships which hide in tunnels along the coast and fire ship-to-ship missiles are still in play. The 1500+ km coastline is pocketed with hidden shore-to-ship anti-ship missiles. An "Armada of the willing" has a high probability of suffering the fate of Spanish Armada of 1588, but not at the hands of an Iranian armada, but by asymmetrical warfare from Iran."Harmony, Security, and Everlasting Peace":Revenues, Profits, and "Forever War" because war = revenues and profitsWash, rinse, repeat ad-infinitum

We will see. I have no high hopes for this war to end before than later.

March 15Mar 15 Popular Post 23 hours ago, GammaGlobulin said:There is no cure for an ideologue of the first kind.Even more importantly, debating a fool is a fool's errand. We humans, at least most of us, are never swayed by a logical argument which contradicts our closely-held beliefs. Therefore, to try to convince others using logic can be hazardous to our health, as well as totally counterproductive for our continuing happiness and wellbeing.Whenever a MAGA devotee has nothing to say, and no reasonable argument to put forth, they revert to criticism of Biden, Obama or Clinton. The irony is that Clinton was a genius when it came to running the economy, and Trump is a total failure, job losses, whipsaw tariff policy, many based on personal vendettas, failed trade deals, consistently getting outsmarted by American allies and adversaries both, price hikes, and the most expensive cars in history.During the 20 years that Clinton, Obama and Biden were in office I was continually critical of their policies. Just look back at some of my posts when Obama and Biden were in power. I was not a big fan of Obama for many of the years that he was president and my posts reflect that. As a centrist democrat I criticized a lot of his policies.I see so little of that coming from Republicans these days, to point where their absolute fealty is actually quite frightening. Most just can't handle critique of Trump, they immediately clam up, get defensive and start making it personal. Instead of behaving like rational intellectuals and debating policy they just start throwing out nonsense, accusations that I've never criticized my own party, or that I get paid to be critical of Trump. That is not only ridiculous, it is inane. I wish somebody would offer to pay me to criticize Trump. I would spend my whole day doing it.Criticism and open mindedness is what independent thinkers engage in, and it sets them apart from dogmatic subjects of a wannabe king. I invite you to reflect on that for just a moment.

I invite you to reflect on that for just a moment.Amen that! But realistically, there aren't too many folks on this forum whom I'd consider to be independent-thinkers. I.e., the Left parrots CNN, the Right parrots Fox New. Very few actually analyze the facts on the ground, use their own knowledge of history and Geo-polictics, and then opine something that isn't one sentence of vitriol and flame. As such, you and I don't agree on things oft times, but I do respect your well thought out opinions.
March 16Mar 16 Yea sure, we will get right on that. We are just a little busy making deals with other countries right now to get around US tariffs.

March 16Mar 16 On 3/14/2026 at 8:37 AM, GammaGlobulin said:Not exactly...In short, "Bibi BamBOOZLED himself" into thinking that Iran did not have second-strike capabilities. And then Bibi bamboozled Trump into starting a war for which he was unprepared, based on false premises that Iran would be an easy nut to crack. And now, they are beginning to attack desalination plants in the region. And, the next EVENTUALITY is that Bibi will begin to consider using NUKES.In short, one can find another dose of TRUTH, watching this vid:This is what happens when leader of a nation appoints agency/department heads and advisors that are woefully inept to begin with but which praise the leader regularly which is all he desires in life. So, when Israel said lets do the Iranians, they can only last a day or so of our strikes against their military and missiles and Trumps advisors agreed and told him to do it now! Yessir, all over in just a few minutes and then Trump and co. plus the Israeli's are scratching their heads trying to figure out what they can bomb next. Now almost two full weeks of bombing everything just about in Iran and surrounding areas, the Iranian leadership and protestors are filmed live marching in protest along the streets of Teheran. Now there aer 16 reported dead US soldiers, over a hundred young girl students plus 75 other innocent civilians including teachers and parents of the students in the twice bombed (with Tomahawk missiles). This has to be a war crime for sure and I as an American hope that DJT is charged and tried for such activity including an unnecessary attack on IRAN for which I have never had any positive feelings for.

March 16Mar 16 In India, crematoriums have stopped using gas to burn their dead and restaurants have stopped deep frying food. In Pakistan, civil servants are working a four-day week and, in Bangladesh, universities have shut and exams have been cancelled. The US-Israeli war on Iran has disrupted energy supplies across the globe but south Asia, which depends heavily on Gulf nations for its gas, has been among the worst affected regions.Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told Indians “there is no need to panic” but the world’s most populous nation is awash with reports of hoarding, theft and price gouging as citizens rush to secure supplies of increasingly scarce cylinders of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) used mainly for cooking. FT todayThailand is very dependant on LPG - can see another farang shakedown coming soon - low hanging fruit. Happy days you know who to blame. The Oil Fuel Fund: The government is currently burning through roughly 700 million Baht per day to keep diesel and LPG prices low. As of March 15, the LPG account within the fund has a deficit of over 37 billion Baht.Emergency Loans: The Ministry of Finance is preparing an emergency decree to allow the Oil Fund to borrow another 100 billion Baht to maintain these subsidies through the middle of 2026.Political Stability: Given the current regional tensions, the government views "cooking gas inflation" as a red line that could trigger domestic unrest, so they are likely to prioritize this subsidy over almost all other spending.

The person who started the war that has already killed a 170 children, and gawd knows how many others, now says that the US has plenty of oil so why not frack off back home!I can't for the life of me wrap my head around the fact that millions of Americans still support this asinine was criminal. He needs to be retired, for the sake of the world.
