This was priceless, the perfect answer to an awkward question.

Even the Japanese PM thought it was awkward, see her eyes looking at the guy who asked it, if looks could kill, he wont be on anymore outings that's for sure!😄

Yeah his Press Career is finished.

I bet ya a whole bunch of folks would say the same thing in the same situation.

Obviously over your head,dude.

If being a 'troll' is what it takes to turn a trap question into a $40 billion nuclear deal and a Japanese commitment to help open the Strait, then maybe the 'presidential' types should start taking notes.coffee1

It’s you that are being suckered….a COMPITENT president would have built consensus BEFORE jeopardizing the effin world’s economy….bulling an erstwhile ally into something they didn’t sign up for is NOT a positive thing and believe me the Japanese won’t forget this hamfisted incompetent president’s actions.

When I first saw this story I thought it could not possibly be true--no President, even Trump, would say such a terrible thing--with the head of Japan sitting right there. It had to be fake--a horrible, tasteless, fake news story put out to make Trump look even worse than he actually is. Instead, Trump's plunging elevator of despicableness just crashed through another layer of rock bottom.

Trump's behaviour to the Japanese P.M. was simply, moronic . . .

Ah, the old 'consensus' argument—because nothing says 'competent' like holding a meeting while the world’s oil supply hits a dead short. You call it 'ham-fisted,' I call it a $40 billion diagnostic success. While you’re worried about Japan’s 'feelings,' their PM just left the Oval Office calling Trump her 'best buddy' and signing off on the SMR nuclear deal.

Japan isn't 'forgetting' anything—they're pragmatists. They know that a 'polite' president who lets the Strait stay closed is a much bigger threat to their economy than a 'bullying' one who actually gets the tankers moving. I'll take 'incompetent' results over your 'consensus' collapse any day.
