Was hard to leave out the Silence of the Lambs , along with many others, but 15 was the limit.

Inception

The Departed

Equilibrium

The Dark Knight

Constantine

Wanted

Beyond Borders

Law Abiding Citizen

Serenity

A Few Good Men

Saving Private Ryan

Some are very disturbed here yet others think they're okay because they post some things that make sense. This is about personal likes, and has nothing to do with anyone else besides a possible like of movies, which is why I created the topic. Everyone loves entertainment, and this is how we can see if we think like anyone else, at least regarding movies. The same person here follows me around and gives me thumbs down as soon as he signs in.

Lawrence of Arabia

The Man Who Would Be King

The Third Man

Casablanca

The Maltese Falcon

Schindler’s List

To Have and Have Not

The French Connection (because of Gene Hackman’s performance)

On the Waterfront

Dr Strangelove

Cool Hand Luke

The Good the Bad & the Ugly

The Spy Who Came in From the Cold

The Seventh Seal

The Name of the Rose

TV Series:

Reilly: Ace of Spies

I've got some catching up to do......only seen Breaking Bad and The Godfather out of the OP's list

Just watched In The Heat of the Night, the Green Mile, recently The African Queen, The Departed, The Defiant Ones, Platoon, Saving Private Ryan, and they too belong on the list, so stopping at 15 was hard.

Not sure how they're going to bring Wash back. You mean the giant sphere missed his heart cheesy

Maybe the Alliance evac'd him out 🙄

Two movies changed my life

After watching them ........

  1. Fight Club (I got the same severance deal and gave up working)

North by Northwest

Dr. Zhivago

To Kill a Mockingbird

Its the flag you fly. Watch me get some, they think it matters.

I would argue with those who have the Godfather on their list as a series. The Godfather 3 was sh*te. The Godfather 1 was just a crime movie,

Godfather 2 is the true representation of American Immigrant Experience that anyone whose family came over between 1880 and 1924 can relate to.

They were all good, but 2 was the best, followed by 1.They belong together, as it shows the beginning to the end of the family's role.

It shows what people like the most, and it has many wanting to add more, mot wanting to leave them out just like me. Desert island movies.

The Lost Patrol (Boris Karloff)

Gunga Din

Amadeus

A short list.

Favourite TV series: Sopranos

Breaking Bad

Gomorrah

Justified

The Wire

The Shield and

Mr. Inbetween

I don't watch too many movies, especially lately, but here are some favourites:

Cool Hand Luke

The Shawshank Redemption

The Godfather 2 &

Silence of the Lambs

Fitzcarraldo
. Written, produced, and directed by Werner Herzog. Starring Klaus Kinski.

Ha, don't think I can go 15. I generally go for historical or 'based on a true story' movies ancient Greek. Roman etc. and movies like 'Undue Inflence' (Brian Dennehy).

Series, I did like Star Trek TOS and a few of the TNG but not a 'Treky'' by any means. Sherlock Holmes, Poirot (David Sucet) and Science/History Docs.

You should try the series The Borgias, there are two different series about the family, and I believe the HBO version was the best one.

Peaky Blinders, got it right with great production cameras, lights, mood, music,

Lucifer for the easy light comedy and also good music,

Vikings of course

Queens Gambit,

Rome

Marco Polo

A few of the Narco movies, Weeds was funny one time back in the time, El Chapo, Narcos I really do not remember the names, but a few of them was entertaining back then.

After Life was brilliant

The norwegian viking comedy Norsemen, maybe take a few episodes to get in to the bizarre dry Norwegian humor. Same as Lillyhammer

Homeland

GOT

And of course Sons of Anarchy

Not to forget Life of Brian, the most important movie ever made!

Loves these historical dramas, based on some real history, and to many to mention, and this is what I remember from top of my head.

  1. Better call Saul

  2. Breaking Bad

  3. Sons of anarchy

  4. Paradise (pretty recent serie - think its really refreshing) currently Season 2 is running

  5. Pluribus (also new and from Vince Giligan - it's a bit slow but the scenes created are fantastic)

Recent movies (i leave out the classics they are all referenced enough)

  1. Frankenstein (Guillermo del Toro)

  2. Bugonia

  3. Black Phone 1

  4. Weapons

  5. Sisu
