Police in Chon Buri have arrested a 20-year-old Russian national accused of withdrawing money linked to a call centre scam operation. Investigators said the wider group carried out 198 ATM transactions worth more than 4.6 million baht across the Na Jomtien area. Officers detained the suspect while he was allegedly making another withdrawal and seized cash, a mobile phone and a motorcycle as evidence. Authorities say the money was connected to scam activity, though they did not release detailed information about the underlying offences. He now faces a charge related to using another person’s electronic card in a way that could harm the cardholder or the public.
