Internet Access Pattaya

Featured Replies

Does anyone know if there is a wireless hotspot available 24/7 anywhere in Pattaya (not a hotel) or alternatively a 24/7 internet cafe? I have a friend coming over next month who needs to be intouch with his work at their time which is 14 hours behind ours. His experience has shown that T&T bb is unreliable.

There are a number of 24 hour internet shops in the central part of town (Central Road, South Pattaya Road, Bua Khow, and others). I use M J Internet on Central Road (between 2nd and 3rd on left if driving towards the beach). Many of these shops also have dedicated notebook stations too. I know the Subways next to Central North Pattaya has wireless and they are open 24 hours. I am sure there are lots of other places too. Just drive around any nite and you will see them.

I have always been wary of Internet Cafes as a lot of them do not run any anti-virus and anti-spyware software - which means they could have key-loggers and other nasties. Not the sort of thing you want if you are doing internet banking and the like. For that reason, I always take my laptop with me and find a friendly Internet Cafe with a notebook LAN access point.
