Pattaya seems to be #1. As the location with the most deaths, suicides, robberies, balcony falls, and mysterious incidents. Stay away. Be warned.

It's because these mysterious incidents involve foreigners who have a mental illness.

Ask the weirdo foreigners to stay away, problem solved.

They left a note. Don't the cops usually tell us what the gist of these notes are?

This was probably exchange rate related

My curiousity is what kind of reputation or national image does Thailand have to have, that people who want to off themselves or commit crime gravitate to Thailand now? Is the Thai government so clueless as to how people view Thailand ? Do they honestly really believe Thailand is seen as a " family friendly destination "? 🤔

Ok, Thailand should impose screening of white males and restrict entry of people with;

  • chronic health conditions

  • annual income below a set amount, e.g. USD $60,000

  • history of alcohol or drug use

  • history of mental illness

  • large amounts of tattoos

  • only high school or community college education

The people unaliving themselves have a profile. Feel free to screen.

Crikey, I reckon there'd only be a hand full of us allowed entry. Even the female foreigners are screwed up

If I remember you have prepared nitrogen concoction.

Ingredients can be purchased from a welders supply.

What would they do with many of the locals having many if not most of those conditions?

Why? ,if it was suicide, possibly through a terminal illlness,or something else serious enough to do this, if this is what they did. Possibly doing it away from home made things easier, all conjection but a very bad thing, Thailand is seeing more and more of this horrific and sad loss of life, I do not know what anyone can do.

I hope the forensics are done well to get to the botton of the sad story.

Yep, nitrogen asphyxiation.

Everything needed is readily available.

You heard it here first folks! From the world's most leading expert on everything! "Thailand: the suicide capital of the world". "Thailand suicide tourism is on the rise". Suicide in western countries is near zero as a result. The ad campaign is working. Well, tourism is tourism! . People flocking here from all over the world to experience their pleasant last moments with a smile. I hear some of them are so excited that they can't wait and jump from the moving planes before they land! Come to Thailand and try the kool aid! Luxurious balconies to jump from! If you buy the whole suicide fun tour package you can be beaten and robbed by ladyboys, run over by a motorbike, and your choice of drowning in a capsized boat after snorkeling, crushed in a mini van accident in the mountains of Pai, or shot by a jealous boyfriend/girlfriend. Let's see, did I leave out any other ignorant stereotypes? Maybe it's more like "Thailand: the chronic complainer capital of the world". Almost. Did you get bored complaining about the same old things in your own country and so you came here to find newer and more interesting things to whine about? How people "view" Thailand. Your psychic powers must be astounding to know how everyone in the world views Thailand. We certainly know how YOU view it, and no doubt everyone around you who has to listen to you. Good thing we're not all like you. Everyone I know is quite happy here, many who have been here for decades, and all my friends in the US envy me. Thanks for the laugh. Meanwhile this is a terribly sad story, and these people and their loved ones deserve respect. Rest in Peace.

This chump seems to think Thailand is now a suicide tourism capital of the world. Couldn't think of anything better to complain about so he invented this.

Really?

Is this what your very young girlfriend says?

Beware when she suggests you join her in Pattaya for the; Music/fireworks/vegetarian/bikini run etc Festivals.🙃🙃

Wonder if coming to Thailand was their last "bucket list" item for their intended suicide. If you consider how the elderly are often treated in Western countries, this might have been the best choice they had, in their minds.

What about the Hotel Staff ? Normally they check every morning if all ok and if Privacy is On they still call in the afternoon to check if all ok . 3-4 Days no one checks ?

Have a last splurge, spend the inheritance and check out, should send an alert for 48 hrs later to have welfare check done, pre-program it to device and then take your preferred meds

Nah.. will be here until mid to late decemder.

I remember in CM there’s a very politically connected guy that owned the hotel in the city and they were using a poison chemical to get rid of the bug bedbugs instead of keeping the mattress outside for many days and then many people died there due to the poison used in the mattress after a while after a few people died there I think they tore down the hotel and the guy who owns it maybe it’s a parking lot or maybe build something else there but it’s really strange cause I think they said it was like an old list smell and there were some young people that actually died due to the dead bug poison I’m not saying this is the case ensure they found medicines the guy is 80+ years old and his wife 60+ years old sure there medicine is there TIT
