Wow! Hope they seem enthusiastic, and happier, on return, than the three that came back from the first mission. That's if they come back. That's if they even go. Are they even real people? Or AIs.

Good luck to the brave 4. Hope the weather is nice.

I gave a laughing emoji, not because I am laughing at @Red Phoenix, but because of how utterly ridiculous this is to me… 😂

They chose a diverse cast for this remake. Who will be directing it?

... "The mission is expected to set several Artemis spaceflight records. Glover would become the first person of color, Koch the first woman, Wiseman the oldest person to leave low Earth orbit, and Hansen the first non-U.S. citizen to travel beyond low Earth orbit and to the Moon" ...

This mission lacks the excitement and flair of Apollo 8.

Waiting for the unfavorable weather conditions.

With its DEI crew the whole Mission looked more like a PR stunt from the beginning than a serious undertaking.

Then there was the April Fools Day launch date, which is of course a nice excuse for NOT launching.

Yes, you read that right > Despite the official NASA live-stream launch website (which is STILL in the air) there was NO launch.

Which for NASA engineers did not come as a big surprise as they were 'not ready' (will they ever be?

Try a Google and you will only find hundreds of enthusiastic stories about the great foreseen launch, but now that the launch time has expired there is CRICKETS. Complete official silence from NASA and other government agencies, and even more telling > not 1 word about this Grand Non-Event in the mainstream media.

They really take us for idiots!

Minutes after I posted the above NO launch comment, James Roguski - who was been covering this mission extensively - posted this:

The link directs to the website-page where he posted 5 vids about this Artemis II mission.

There is the main video about the launch as well as the Postlaunch News Conference.

After initial 'radio silence' the mainstream media has now started covering this so-called historic event.

It's quite interesting > the credibility of NASA is now at stake as they will continue posting coverage of the mission.

If it turns out that the evidence they provide is doctored, the outrage will kill that whole organization.

They are on their way.

Gonna go round the earth and then go straight to the moon. Round the moon and back to earth. Man, and lady, go further than any human before.

Next stop; Mars. Then, by 2035; the sun. Imagine that! Humans landing on the sun, Some conspiracy fools say it's far to hot to walk on the sun. Oh yea! NASA has the answer to that. They will go in the winter.

One of the NASA webpages now displays this text and the first picture of Earth taken from Orion.

Source: https://www.nasa.gov/image-article/hello-world/

> NASA astronaut and Artemis II Commander Reid Wiseman took this picture of Earth from the Orion spacecraft’s window after completing the translunar injection burn. There are two auroras (top right and bottom left) and zodiacal light (bottom right) is visible as the Earth eclipses the Sun.

This and another photo of Earth are the first downlinked images from the Artemis II astronauts. See more photos from Orion as they are shared.

See and hear what the astronauts do with our 24/7 feed.

Just a minute ago I watched a crew member say that they can see a certain feature on the moon that is not visible from the earth thus proving that they are not on earth !! 😋

Errm if the earth is eclipsing the sun why is the side we see fully illuminated ?

Hope the crew-member did take photos of the feature. But for sure, it will take some time before the release of the pics will have passed NASA's Communication/PR.

Is it actually happening?

No launch. Rocket spirited away somewhere. Absolutely no backgrounds, worth any salt, on any of the 'hoaxzanaults'.

Locked away in some studio I reckon.

In a few days they will be shown waving from the landing craft off the West Coast. Their first interviews will be interesting.

Come back Stanley K; all is forgiven.

No he didn't, as NASA themselves say that these widely disseminated Earth pics are CGI and don't represent reality.

The "blue marble" is an invention and NASA has in fact never taken a picture of the entire planet Earth. Each one of the pictures released over the years is unequivocally altered and the inconsistencies are undeniable:

FakeBlueMarble2.png.80e7044d4b3be83820a4dd36473d5757.png

FakeBlueMarble.png.d26f46d16fc8c16d7f4694be64950916.png

But don't take my word for it, here is NASA data visualizer and designer Robert Simmon, creator of the "blue marble":

In the existing cloud map some people have noticed a few repeating features that appear photoshopped. They are. There are gaps between orbits near the equator, and there’s no way to fill them with real data.

Compositing separate images into a convincing whole is (of course) easier said than done. Even with control of each layer in my image processing software (Photoshop) it took hours of tweaking and re-tweaking transparency, layer masks, hue, saturation, gaussian blur, and curves to get an image that looked like the picture I had in my head.

https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/blogs/elegantfigures/2011/10/06/crafting-the-blue-marble/

The hard part was creating a flat map of the Earth’s surface with four months’ of satellite data. Reto Stockli, now at the Swiss Federal Office of Meteorology and Climatology, did much of this work. Then we wrapped the flat map around a ball. My part was integrating the surface, clouds, and oceans to match people’s expectations of how Earth looks from space. That ball became the famous Blue Marble.

According to Alter-AI, which I have never experienced trying to deceive me with 'accepted narratives' on controversial subjects, there are two very different categories of " Earth images". It provided a wealth of information and links when I confronted it with your post, of which I provide a short summary below.

Category

Examples

What they are

Who made them

Actual photographs

Apollo 8–17 series (1968–72), DSCOVR EPIC (since 2015), and now Artemis II images

Light hitting film or a digital sensor from a single vantage point

Astronaut‑operated cameras or long‑range satellites

Composites / visualizations

“Blue Marble 2000–2005,” “Next Generation,” iPhone wallpaper versions

A mosaic assembled from thousands of partial satellite swaths over weeks – months, then artistically color‑balanced

Reto Stöckli and Robert Simmon at NASA Goddard (“Mr. Blue Marble”)

Takeaway:

  • Yes, NASA’s “Blue Marble” series from the early 2000s are digitally composited mosaics.

  • That fact has been disclosed from day one by NASA itself.

  • It says nothing about the authenticity of actual flight photography, which does exist — from Apollo, DSCOVR, and now Artemis II.

Note: You can query Alter-AI yourself (alter.systems) and simply ask it to comment on your post. Or PM me and I will send you the full response.

And here some more detail, including links so you can actually see the difference between the real unprocessed camera frame and the later composite or “polished” visualization.

🛰️ 1️⃣ The real photograph — DSCOVR EPIC raw frame

  • Where it came from: NASA’s DSCOVR satellite, orbiting at the Earth–Sun L1 point, roughly 1 million miles away.

  • Instrument: EPIC (Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera) — a 10‑channel CCD camera with filters from ultraviolet to near‑infrared.

  • How it works: Every ~2 hours it takes a single full‑disk exposure through each of 10 filters. Those frames are combined into a color photo. No mosaicking — it’s an entire hemisphere in one shot.

  • Appearance:

    • Earth fills only part of the field of view.

    • The limb (edge) fades into space with a bluish halo.

    • Cloud tops show proper shadows and subtle limb darkening.

    • Orientation is tilted depending on EPIC’s geometry.

    • You can download the raw, 2048×2048 TIFF files directly at 👉 https://epic.gsfc.nasa.gov
(choose any date — e.g., 2024‑10‑15 — and click “Natural Color” then “Full Resolution”).

That’s a real camera image, with only basic processing for color balance and contrast.

🌐 2️⃣ The composite / visualization — Blue Marble 2002 or Next Generation

  • Source: Terra MODIS data taken over 100 days (land and ocean) + two extra days of clouds + added atmospheric haze and ice layers.

  • Creators: Reto Stöckli (data handling) and Robert Simmon (“Mr. Blue Marble”).

  • Method: A global mosaic stitched from thousands of satellite swaths; then the flat map was wrapped on a sphere, artificially lit, and color‑graded to be “how people imagine Earth from space.”

  • Tell‑tale signs:

    • Uniform, “perfect‑weather” appearance — no transient storms.

    • Reused clouds or seamless repeats near the equator.

    • Enhanced saturation and contrast.

    • Always centered on the designer’s chosen region (North America in the main 2002 version).

You can see the official project description with layer maps at 👉 https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Features/BlueMarble/BlueMarble_2002.php

🔭 3️⃣ Side‑by‑side summary

Feature

DSCOVR EPIC Raw

Blue Marble Composite

Data source

Single exposure from 1 million miles

Mosaic of >10 000 satellite swaths

Time span

~1 minute

~4 months

Clouds

Real, dynamic – may include storms

Montaged / cloned to fill gaps

Lighting

True solar geometry

Simulated “studio” lighting

Purpose

Scientific monitoring & public record

Outreach / illustration

Authenticity

True photo

Digital visualization

✳️ 4️⃣ What Artemis II is sending now

Orion’s optical instruments and crew handheld cameras operate exactly like EPIC — a single view capturing Earth’s daylight hemisphere in real time. That puts modern Artemis photos firmly in the “real photograph” column, not the visualization one.

When you visit the EPIC archive, pick any raw image and compare it to the glossy “Blue Marble 2002” you’ve seen online; you’ll instantly notice the raw photo has less‑saturated oceans, natural lighting falloff, and unique cloud patterns. That’s the difference between data photography and illustrative compositing.

The real photograph — DSCOVR EPIC raw frame

On 👉 https://epic.gsfc.nasa.gov
you can see what are allegedly the REAL pictures of how Earth looks from space.

It's still spectacular but less than the visually attractive Blue Marble which was created exactly for that purpose.

Note that I am still NOT a full NASA believer about the 'moon walk'.

Exactly.

I know I'm gonna come under massive pressure. I will get 000s of messages telling me how unpatriotic I am. Get soup thrown at me in the street. But I must say it, for the value of truth. And I reckon the truth is; The four hoaxanaults are not real people. The are a construct of the deep space state to demonstrate to a gullible world just how capable and superior the US actually is As if we didn't already know. That's me chucked out of the academy. That's me being replaced as chairman. That's me losing my lucrative grant. Even my own family might turn against me. But I don't care. The truth must prevail. Long live the saints. Down with the demons I say. Blessed be the truth-tellers.

We will soon see the fab four getting out of their module in the Pacific. Interviews will be interesting indeed.

What actually happened was that they, NASA, got their dates mixed up. They were gonna go on April Fools Day and if/when they were rumbled they would announce; April Fool. Yes! Play a huge trick on the world. But they went on the following day and now have to front it out. Cause it's only April Fool's day on one day.

What I want to see is actual people going into space and start a family up there. The first Non-earth, Earth human children. On that point it would need just 4 guys and 69 women to start a colony. I have been approached about the concept; to see if I wanted to be one of the four. But I said; "What about Ivan Allen?"

The truth will emerge very soon.

That feature would be the WW2 bomber, that went missing over the Nevada desert.

Also there were reports, back in the day, that Elvis was seen on the moon. And that he arrived in the bomber. I think that is a conspiracy theory; if ever there was one. There is no evidence that Elvis even had a pilot's license.

A lot a speculation out there at the mo.

Witnessed a launch!! Now you are talking.

I was in one. The first Dagenham Dock human to be part of the International Playstation.

Got back safe and sound. That was some years ago. Now writing my memoirs in Isaan.

Fair enough, not everyone gets to witness a launch. Fewer still get to fly on the International Playstation. Quite a journey from Dagenham Dock to outer space and then straight to Isaan for retirement. NASA really should have documented that mission.

Thanks Sir. Nice words. Appreciated.

Yes! It's been a hectic life. Lost in the desert. Camped at the top of the mountain. Long distance swimming. International Playstation adventures. Hitch hiking to the south Pole. Rubbing shoulders with the gentry. Professional football. Computer games. And all the while bringing up all those children.

Now I treasure the peace and quiet of Isaan.
