E-mail with 3bb

Featured Replies

Are there any other people with an email account at 3bb who have received a notification in the past week that their email account will be closed on 27 April?

I’m looking for a new provider to open an email account with, but it’s not that straightforward.

Of course, there are plenty of providers where you can create a free account, but these aren’t always accepted by certain organisations, such as Gmail or Hotmail, to name but a few.

But I don’t want that, I’m actually looking for a provider where I can set up an email account in the usual way.

I’d actually expected to see some responses on AN by now, I’m starting to get the impression that I’m the only one who finds this problematic.

It’s always a mistake to tie your email to your ISP.

You could be right as I have had no issues with a hotmail and various outlook accounts being accepted anywhere that I can remember.....In fact I recall AN as was (Thai Visa) once suggesting people with hotmail accounts change to gmail or similar for some reason but that all went away in the end.

Perhaps have a look at Proton Mail, Tuta or StartMail?

I vote for Proton Mail.

I've never had an issue with gmail and hotmail, gmail best for filtering junk, which organisations don't accept them and why?

Some government organisation's in Europe, but I wonder, will the Thai immigration authorities accept a webmail account such as ‘Proton Mail’ (as mentioned above)or gmail for the 90-day registration?
