Did you realize that you are making no sense at all.

Nobody is so busy, that they can't think for themselves. If they don't know the candidate, why are they even voting. Good commercial, vote straight Dem or straight Rep. Guessing that's exactly what many do.

Voting record is a few key stokes away. They got time to watch the news, favorite soap, real life TV, sporting event, then they got time to Google the most important things that affect their lives.

I try to enlighten a few folks on AN, and get nothing but trolls, with silly comments, or ignorant replies, showing they really haven't a clue.

Again, lots of words, but nothing to do with reality on the ground. People are struggling to get by. They also need to have a life outside working. They'll vote for the person who says they will help them, but that doesn't necessarily translate into change. Did anyone imagine what would be happening now? What percentage of the US population knew that the USA would attack Iran and ask for a share of the proceeds of Hormuz tolls? Would the voter be looking for a candidate that was against funding Israel? There are so many variables and people do not have the time to understand the intricacies.

Whereas you literally have nothing else to do. So what if they don't have a clue? Educate them without getting your underwear in a twist about it all. Do you imagine everyone will sit there, listen quietly and agree with everything you say?

Stop calling people, dumb, idiots and trolls. That says more about you, than them. If you are better at figuring it out, take the time to explain it to your fellow countrymen. You don't seem familiar how the "EU" can decide if nuclear power will be revived or not. They can't. It's decided by the countries of the EU. Not in Brussels.

It's cristal clear. Nobody (except the companies and politicians who are involved) want's to invest in nuclear power anymore. It's far too expensive.
