Reverse-Peristalsis: Has this ever troubled you, here in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Dear Folks,

Fortunately for me, I have never personally experienced a case.

However, I am not saying that this has never happened to me when I was in China, while downing crab and other food during a free banquet for the entire community..

What do YOU do when you experience an episode of Reverse-Peristolsis?

What is your remedy?

And, in your opinion, what are the main causes of such:

  1. Intense heat-stress during this record-breaking Hot Season?

  2. Global Warming?

  3. Inferior knowledge about how to DIY a great Indian-Food meal?

  4. Indiscriminate other causes…..?

Thank you.

Best regards,

Gamma

Important Note:  During this record-breaking Hot Season, following the Food-Safety-Rules is absolutely paramount.

I hope that you do read the guidelines, and that you do not stray too far from these wise recommendations.

Final Note:  But, if Reverse-Peristalsis does suddenly overtake you, then how do YOU handle it?

Yeah if I consume too many cans (24 +) in any given session I may suffer reverse peristalsis (vomiting).

I try to emulate George H W Bush and look for a nearby Japanese prime minister.

I hope that you will show due respect, as well.

Key Aspects of Reverse Peristalsis

Mechanism: While normal peristalsis uses muscle contraction and relaxation to push food through the gastrointestinal tract towards the anus, reverse peristalsis reverses this wave, moving contents towards the mouth.

Seems you do suffer from it, frequently.

Use to vomit a lot when i first started working,or "feeding the fish" as they called it.

They tried to cure it by hanging a potato around my neck and i was told whenever i felt the urge to throw up to smell the potato, the smell of land should help?

Ah good times but long ago.
