Awful Quiet on the Iran Front

Apparently, it is your position that Iran "should protect themselves from the terrorists near and far." I am in agreement 100%.

Is it also your position that Iran should be permitted to continue their nuclear warhead and ballistic missile programs, to protect themselves from terrorists near and far?

I'll go with this definition: "A terrorist is an individual who uses violence, mayhem, or threats thereof to coerce populations or governments, often pursuing political, ideological, or religious goals"

One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter.

This is still getting us nowhere!

Give it a rest. You haven't the knowledge or the common sense to know why America does anything, let alone why they got into this conflict. Try reading up on world history before you comment, because it's obvious you haven't a clue why America got into this if you call them the instigators. They started it, but who started it decades before?

You hate the US and Trump, which has you immediately biased, which makes your opinions meaningless. History has shown what Iran's regime has done to Americans alone, let alone Iran's citizens the last 4 decades and early this year, the problem before was the previous presidents let things slide, which is the opposite of what you do when terrorists strike. You destroy them, all of them, and don't stop until you get them all, like roaches, as they'll keep recruiting children to hatred.

Don't bother replying, as we're all sick of the way you interact with members here, as you can see from previous posts. You take turns attacking members until you're busted, and find it impossible to carry on a discussion without demeaning others, which can be seen in this topic alone.

"They started it, but who started it decades before?"

Do tell! Who started, and how and what did they start? Let's begin after WW2 and work ourselves forward, shall we?thumbsup

So, how has that been working out for you? I mean, bombing and killing them? Has it gotten rid of the "roaches, and has it sown the seeds of love in the childrens' hearts, has it?

Interesting debating technique you're employing. Like 'I'm gonna b***h and whine about what you're posting, but don't you dare to reply to my post!'😂

Best that you are kept isolated from the general public, in deep Baan Nawk.

It's hard to imagine how his mind works, and the stress he's under. Everyone knows what he is, and how he speaks, and how old he is, so we have to expect some off thinking, much like Biden was. What some aren't seeing, is that many of a presidents decisions are ideas that others have given him, much the same way he made much of his money. help from others. I can't imagine being in his shoes, even if I'm not a malignant narc who mostly cares for himself and his gains.

Yes, he's likely bored with this, as that's part of his personality. They jump from topic to topic, letting the chips fall where they may, and those who back him are likely also shaking their heads, and hoping he doesn't go off the deep end. They are also backing this war, obviously as it's been going on for so long, so their motives are more than we know, no matter what we know.

As far as that food on the carriers, ships do come in with pallets of food to supply other ships, so that might have been one day when supplies were getting short, as that ship alone serves 1200 meals a day, so that's a lot of food.

I could say exactly the same thing about you, as your type with that disorder are dangerous to the public, especially women. Try another, as your ammunition has long been used up and you're clutching at straws the last 6 months or more. And, stop trolling me,as there are hundreds of members here who would be glad to call you out on your insanity.

Scottiejohn, I know you hate Trump, but have always been logical in your replies, so look at this outside the box, and remember how i do feel about Trump, and wait to see the outcome before you jump to conclusions. You might be surprised.

I am NOT jumping to any conclusions!

I just look at the damage that lunatic has already done to the WHOLE world, not just how the USA is despised by so many around the world.

NOTHING he can, or will do in the future, can repair that damage!

Mere caricatures of what was acceptable and expected just decades ago, before Biden last term.

Again, why despise the US if it's Trump you hate? Many voted for him and regret it, and not for this conflict but other reasons. Whatever he's done will be seen soon enough, during his tenure if not into the next. Remember he's all about America first, and not letting any other countries take anymore advantage of the US. Yes, I also think some of his actions are suspicious, but who here is an expert on things political in their infant stages? Maybe we can all look back in 3 years from now and call him a moron that hurt more than helped, but that's then. Now it's too early to see the endgame of many things he;s initiated, which is the truth, no matter how much you hate him.

I thought the Obama Administration was a clown show.

So why did you respond to him?

There are other people reading the posts here, you could point out the false claims and back it up with facts. (just kidding, I know you can't do that, just stick to the name-calling, it's all you have!)

Read my reply again. What do you do when confronted with a raving maniac. The same goes for an idiot who tries to play games, rather than to have an honest debate. Everyone here already has your number.

Remember, you did the name calling first. The problem is that you get so used to it, that you don't even realise that you are doing it. It's just the MAGA style. But outside of Trolling and memes, there isn't much else.

If you look back at what I've said all along, you would understand how I feel. Even in this topic. I didn't vote for him, and never would, but I think many here don't look at what he's done right and concentrate on things he's done that are suspicious now, without seeing the outcome on many. if what he's done turns out mostly bad, then I'll be the first to call him a failure.

I have watched you over the last two months make excuses for Trump on almost a daily basis. I have watched you begin to have sympathy or some feelings for the guy. I would never understand how you feel. Stop making excuses for a stupid, egomaniacal want to be dictator. He is the greatest danger our country has ever faced and you are making excuses for him. Not cool at all if you are trying to win me over.

Meanwhile, on the not so quiet Iran front.........

Well....

Then, when would you say was the last time, if ever, the WH and a sitting president had an excellent foreign policy team, who were experts and professionals?

Just asking.

When I said decades, I meant this, only.

I think Marco Rubio is great.

I hate Trump's rhetoric, but I like most of what he done and trying to do.

Yes I would agree. See what happens. A minor war which is winding down.

Rubio does seem to be far less a dummy than most in the WH, these days, and he even sometimes lets the truth slip out, before being corrected by Trump.

Look again, as they aren't excuses but looking at what he's done right, and accepting it, and waiting to see what some of his actions will pan out to in the future, as he's not been there long enough to see the fruition of many yet. I don't have sympathy for a narcissist. We can't do anything but wait.

I know exactly what he is and have before he was elected the first time. A malignant narcissist, misogynist, cheating, racist, low vocabulary egomaniac, who possibly has ties to some real weirdos and his actions there could be worse than we think, who had help all along not only making his money but there in the white house.

Every president we've had has done good and bad, and I haven't see too many besides Reagan, Carter, Eisenhower, Kennedy and a little of George Bush that were decent. We do need better choices.

Sorry Scottie, I wasn't directing that hating US on you, but in general. I do understand why many feel the way they do, as even being an American and not political, I see some of his actions as suspicious, but I do think this conflict was necessary as Iran was getting away with literal murder for way too long, and taking away their military is but one way to help it's citizens, leaving the rest to them. Now that they fear losing money in oil and trade, maybe they'll back down and negotiate.

Iran says Strait of Hormuz open as Trump sees deal 'soon' to end war

Shortly after Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi's statement, Trump posted on Truth Social: "IRAN HAS JUST ANNOUNCED THAT THE STRAIT OF IRAN IS FULLY OPEN AND READY FOR PASSAGE."

But statements from both sides left uncertainty over how quickly shipping could resume. Trump said a U.S. blockade of ships sailing to Iranian ports - announced after talks with Tehran last weekend ended without agreement - would remain until "our transaction with Iran is 100% complete".

Iran responded sharply, with Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei warning that Tehran would take "necessary reciprocal measures" if a maritime blockade continued.
