It cannot open the Strait of Hormuz. True, it can blockade Iranian cargoes with its navy, but can do nothing to prevent resupply from Russia via the Caspian Sea. At any point, the Houthis can close down Red Sea traffic as well.

America cannot take out civilian infrastructure without becoming war criminals, from the president down to a bomber pilot.

These are facts, and no amount of gaslighting from you can change them.

As far as I can make out, most of the thinkers in America are saying Trump has made a massive miscalculation which will send many economies into recession, including America. Obviously, you are not one of them. I mean thinkers.

I do not see anyone here defending Iran or its government. Opposing war or questioning Western policy is not the same as endorsing the Iranian regime.

And do not misunderstand me. I understand how empires work. They are built on familiar human traits and survive as long as economic growth continues and the masses remain satisfied, manageable, and invested in the system. But once the threats begin to outweigh the rewards, and punishment replaces prosperity as the main force holding everything together, collapse has already begun. At that point, the empire enters a slow death. History suggests that this does not change unless there is a major breakdown, a vast loss of population, and a brutal kind of reset.
