Don't say you think the way to do that is through bombing desalination plants...... No amount of bombing can really affect Tehran's water supply, any more than Allied carpet bombing knocked out German water.

No, I am not saying Tehran's water supply could be disrupted through bombing of desalination plants. The U.S. could bomb whatever infrastructure is used to move water from its source to households in Tehran. That could involve the bombing of dams, reservoirs, water channels, pipelines, treatment centers, pumping stations, etc. Tehran already faces a water shortage due to a combination of drought and inadequate infrastructure.

I am in no way advocating for the U.S. to bomb Tehran's water supply. I gave it as a theoretical example of what the U.S. military could do in answer to threats against the U.S. by Iran's leader.
