May 1May 1 Meghan’s feeding Chicken Video Sparks Royal ‘Copycat’ ClaimsSocial media post raises eyebrowsMeghan Markle has stirred fresh royal chatter after posting a lighthearted video from her California home — just hours after King Charles III was seen feeding chickens during an official visit in New York. The Duchess shared clips on Instagram from her Montecito chicken coop, showing off her hens while hosting a visiting chocolatier tied to her latest lifestyle venture. The informal tone — and the timing — quickly drew attention online.A fleeting royal cameoIn one brief moment, Princess Lilibet appears in the background, dressed in pink and playing near the coop. The exchange is short and largely inaudible, but adds a rare glimpse into the Sussex family’s private life — something that typically generates outsized interest. The video itself is relaxed and domestic, with Meghan enthusiastically introducing her chickens while chatting to her guest.Charles’ Harlem visitThe post came shortly after King Charles visited Harlem Grown, a community farming initiative in New York. During the visit, he joined children in feeding chickens and learning about urban agriculture projects aimed at improving access to healthy food. The King’s appearance formed part of a broader U.S. trip focused on reinforcing transatlantic ties and highlighting community-led initiatives.Timing fuels comparisonsWhile there is no suggestion of coordination, the proximity of the two appearances — both involving chickens — has prompted inevitable comparisons. Critics online were quick to label Meghan’s video as mimicry, while others dismissed the overlap as coincidence.Royal-watchers have long scrutinised perceived parallels between the Sussexes and the working royals, often reading into timing and presentation choices.Familiar spotlight dynamicMoments like this underline the enduring fascination with both sides of the royal divide. Even minor, everyday content — whether an official engagement or a casual social media clip — can quickly become part of a wider narrative about rivalry, relevance and image. In reality, one was a formal public duty, the other a curated glimpse of private life — but in the royal spotlight, even chickens can become a story.SOURCE
May 1May 1 She's posted numerous vids of her & her chickens. Maybe it's the king being coincidental with his choice of places to visit. She does it all the time, him, once, but she's the one accused of bad timing, go figure. Too funny.People need to get a life, outside of attacking people that do so much more for people than the folks trolling them. Edited May 1May 1 by KhunLA
May 11May 11 If you've ever driven near a chicken farm, I can't even imagine the stench if they were raising enough chickens in Harlem to make any kind of meaningful difference in "healthy food". You can smell a commercial chicken farm from 10 miles away.
May 11May 11 She always tries to upstage the real royals. Always fails. Like her jam that has to be called a spread because it's so runny. PS those chickens got better legs than Rachel.
