Nice apartments at the entrance to my gated community. A row of shop houses that didn't sell, so the top 2 floors became 2 condos and the bottom floor rented as a shop. About 50 condos and 25 shops. T

None of your business.

Assuming you are serious, I'd advise a weekend retreat first. It's not easy for someone as chatty as you appear to spend days on end sitting around not talking without knowing why.

I'm a quiet guy. But I'd rather have sex with gf than sit on a floor. Forums are for discussing ideas.

Are you ready to take your fitness to the next level? Let's start with a few key questions! What is your height? How old are you? Knowing your Body Weight Index (BWI) is essential—what's yours? Challenge yourself: how many push-ups can you complete in one minute? It’s also important to track your resting heart rate for optimal health. How fast can you run a mile? And don't forget to share your time for the 100-meter dash! Let’s set some goals together!

Got to say it. This looks like a stupid Instagram post. I can just smell it. It's all laid out tidy like and the silly little ukulele guitar thing.

My posts are interesting as I talk Thailand.

Going by your huge negative reputation score I would suggest that very few on AN find any of your posts interesting as they are mostly either insults or pointless questions!

On the subject of questions, you never answer any as shown by your total refusal to answer my questions!

It may well be propped, often a visual message is telling a short story....... up to the viewer to be able to read between the lines.............

Which gym are you talking about

You must go to the gym and please throw away that walking stick, it's not necessary and it really puts a bee in my bonnet to see elderly men who want to be elderly walking with sticks in 2026 !

Anyway this post is NOT about gyms ,can we please respect the OP and go back to the topic please !!

I've never been to a gym, and I certainly don't use a walking stick.

Gee I don't even use a mop, that's the wife's job.

You really should seek professional help for your obvious mental issues.

No doctor at your hospital where you work that could help?

I think you might have misunderstood my comment...the comment was a reply to the 'instagram/trying too hard' comment and I was referring to the musical instrument etc against the wall and the fact you could be conveying living a simple life with this picture...

You may remember in another thread a day or so ago, I posted in reply to a spidermike comment about how I liked a simple life and you kicked in saying you kept this base (above pic) near Don meuang, I think it was and lived also in Japan...........we're on the same page.................

I am not really sure the point of this dumb thread...

But 20 years ago I used to rent a fairly ok apartment in Pattaya for 3500 a month but the electric rate was double the government rate so when it was hot, the electric bill was often the same as the rent...Back then the bar girls did rent some real <deleted> rooms for 2000 a month I saw....Horrid places....I don't know if its even possible to rent that cheap anymore..

Really my rent is about $68 a month

but 2,000 baht

Those 10 day retreats book out months in advance.

They are in the style of Goenke, a Burmese master who came up with a sort of Vippassana’s greatest hits.

For a drop in, Chiang Mai is the place

I did 90 days of silence at the Insight meditation Society in Massachusetts. It changed my life. I did it again at Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu.

But 10 minutes twice a day of mindful breathing will take most people as far as they want to go.

I admire the OP. I lived for a while in a gaijin house in Kyoto. The green peace guest house, much beloved in the lonely planet era.

I had about 10 inches of walk around space with a meter wide futon in the middle and a shelf over the bed and a few hooks for my stuff. Great, great days.

The thing about hitting 70 years of age, one must not slow down if possible. I'm a full time cyclist here in Japan and other then being shipped around with the misses, I'm a full time cyclist here, but I do hope to increase my motorcycle rides. I've downsized everything in Thailand and what you saw is the truth, but of course the misses has her own property 2 minutes away, so the apartment is really a roof over my head at night time. OK, if you want more info on Japan and Thailand ( mostly Japan ) PM me. I have a cycling/camping blog with many views over the last 7 years.

Why not just post the blog web address or give us enough details to find it ourselves? I'm curious about Japan. I've always wanted to go there.
