A long time ago when I was a member of this forum I recall that to delete a quote or a picture or whatever I just had to clear.

Returning to a thread and wishing to actually post something...

There was already a quote which I wanted to clear

I triple posted a quote which I couldn't delete.

It depends on your timing - edit ability is lost after about 10 minutes.

A screenshot of your issue always helps us to understand specific problems.

If you were within that time, and the quotes are in the editor - there shoudnt be an issue.
