I asked actual Thais to say the words as I don't go around asking locals this unless I wanted to see what they would say.

I knew how to say it long before I moved here by watching it on TV and having martial arts instructors who were into the Thai style. They said it the same way I heard it back then, along with how I heard it when I visited my girlfriend's house.
