Does Marriage Certificates from US can be recognized in Thailand ? For example do I need to legalize my Marriage License in USA first in order to be recognized by authorities in Thailand or not ?! I recently had to deal with Apostile for same document but is something that other countries requires .Was wondering how to prove that I am married to my husband ( we both expats by the way ) if they ask to show my marriage licence prior to getting work permit legal stay based on my husband work permit in the Kingdom , would it be approved and recognized as legal document ? Any advice would be of a big help , thank you ! :-)

As long as its not a dodgy religon,bikers club or some wacky jesu symbol outfit that dosnt recognised local elected government laws without substantiation then you should be OK..

It should be.

But because some people may not familiar to English version, you may want to have it translated to Thai, and notarized from US Embassy in Bangkok if your marriage certificate is from U.S.
